Unlock the packaging lock:

1. Turn the packaging lock counterclockwise several times.
2. Pull out and discard the packaging lock.

GETTING STARTED

BATTERY INSTALLATION

1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the back of the unit.
3. Install 2 new “AAA” size (LR03/AM-4) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. (The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance.)
4. Replace the battery cover to secure it.

BATTERY NOTICE

• Use new alkaline batteries for maximum performance.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
• Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbonzinc) rechargeable (Ni-Cd, Ni-MH), or new and used batteries.
• Do not use damaged batteries.
• Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
• Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
• Do not dispose of batteries in a fire.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging (if removable).
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.

   Press the On/OFF BUTTON to turn the unit ON. Press the ON/OFF BUTTON to turn the unit OFF.

2. Function Buttons

   • PLAY/ PAUSE BUTTON
     Play or pause the music by pressing the PLAY/ PAUSE BUTTON.

   • PREVIOUS BUTTON & NEXT BUTTON
     Press the PREVIOUS BUTTON & NEXT BUTTON to make a selection.

   • LIGHT-UP MUSIC BUTTON
     Press the LIGHT-UP MUSIC BUTTON to hear music or confirm your selection.

   • TEMPO BUTTON
     Press the TEMPO BUTTON to adjust the tempo of the melodies.

   • VOLUME BUTTON
     Press the VOLUME BUTTON to adjust the volume.

3. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF

   • To preserve battery life, the unit will automatically power off after several minutes without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing the On/Off button.
   • When you see this low battery icon on the screen or the unit repeatedly powers down, please insert new batteries and try switching it on again.

1. Letter Songs Mode
   Learn letters and phonics while listening to letter songs. Press the PREVIOUS & NEXT BUTTONS to select different songs.

2. Number Songs Mode
   Listen to number songs while watching cute animations to learn about numbers and counting.

3. What Letter Comes Next? Mode
   Listen to the ABC song. When the music stops, use the PREVIOUS & NEXT BUTTONS to choose the letter that comes next.

4. Clock Chimes Mode
   Listen to the clock chimes and press the PREVIOUS & NEXT BUTTONS to select the correct number of chimes.

5. Classical Music Mode
   Listen to classical music by pressing the PREVIOUS & NEXT BUTTONS to select different melodies.

6. Hip Hop Music Mode
   Enjoy some hip-hop music by pressing the PREVIOUS & NEXT BUTTONS to select different melodies.

7. Rock Music Mode
   Hear rock music by pressing the PREVIOUS & NEXT BUTTONS to select different melodies.

8. Animal Remix Mode
   Listen to the animals sing cute songs by pressing the PREVIOUS & NEXT BUTTONS to select different animals.

9. Instrument Remix Mode
   Remix the melody by pressing the PREVIOUS & NEXT BUTTONS to select different instruments.

10. Boogie Dance Mode
    Dance and “freeze” when the music stops. Listen to the words in the song and boogie down!

CARE & MAINTENANCE

1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat source.
3. Remove the batteries when the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time.
4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If for some reason the program/activity stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps:

1. Please turn the unit OFF.
2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play again.
5. If the product still does not work, replace it with a new set of batteries.
