SSD Installation

Unscrew all 4 screws and remove the top cover.
-
Insert the M.2 SSD, lock the screw to fixate the M.2 SSD, then attach thermal pad.
Remove both protective films of thermal pad and paste it on the M.2 SSD.
- Close the top cover and lock it up with the screws.
The installation is complete now.
Please make sure that the pins touch the contact surface when placing them.

now connect the enclosure and the computer with a USB cable.

Using A Brand New Hard Drive
If you are using a brand new drive, you might have to initialise it before you
can use it.
Only initialise a disk if you are absolutely sure it is a brand new one with
out any of you data.
Open Computer Management >> Storage Disk Management, then right-click on the disk you want to initialise, and select Initialise Disk on the drop-down menu. Please make sure that the correct disk is selected.
Drive is Connected but Missing in File Explorer
Open Computer Management >> Storage Disk Management, thenright-click on the disk marked as Offline and select Online on the drop-down menu.
