Product Usage Instructions
Loading and Unloading the Feeding Pump:
- Grasp the thumb tab on the valve and insert it into the left pocket, ensuring it is fully seated.
- Gently wrap the tubing around the rotor and insert the black ring retainer into the right pocket without overstretching the tubing.
- To unload the pump set, power off the pump and wait for 10 seconds before removing the feeding set.
Proper Rinsing of Feeding Set:
- Disconnect the feeding set from the patient before rinsing, ensuring that the set remains loaded.
- Empty the contents of the feed bag and fill it with water to about half of its capacity. Seal the bag and shake for 5 to 10 seconds.
- Repeat the rinsing process until clean water is visible in the bag.
- Power on the pump and select Keep Settings or Clear Settings based on your preference.
- Press the Prime Pump button and hold the Hold to Prime button until clean water flows through the tubing (1-2 minutes).
- Ensure the fluid level in the feeding set bag is 6 inches above the top of the feeding pump for accuracy.
- Empty the bag of water and prime to remove any remaining water from the feeding set.

Using Instruction
Proper loading and unloading of the feeding pump
- Grasp the thumb tab on the valve and insert it into the left pocket — ensure the valve is fully seated. The thumb tab should align with a slot in the blue door.
- Grasp the black ring retainer, gently wrap the tubing around the rotor and insert the retainer directly into the right pocket. Do not overstretch tubing.
- To properly unload a pump set, power off the pump and wait 10 seconds before removing the feeding set.
Proper rinsing of the feeding set
- Disconnect the feeding set from the patient before rinsing. The feeding set must remain loaded during the rinsing procedure.
- CAUTION — If the set is removed from the pump while in operation, it may damage the set and prevent use, negatively affecting the system’s accuracy.
- Empty the contents of the feed bag.
- Fill the feed bag with water to approximately half of the total capacity. Properly seal the bag and shake for 5 to 10 seconds.
- Empty the feed bag and repeat the last step until the bag contains clean water.
- Power on the pump. Select “Keep Settings” to continue with the previous setting or “Clear Settings” to start programming new pump settings.
- Press the “Prime Pump” button to enter the “Prime Pump” screen.
- Press and hold the “Hold to Prime” button until only clean water flows through the tubing. Once the rotor starts this takes between 1 and 2 minutes.
- Empty bag of water. Prime to remove any remaining water from the feeding set.
- CAUTION — For proper accuracy, the fluid level in the feeding set bag must be 6 inches above the top of the feeding pump when the feeding cycle is initiated.
