Preparation:

1. Ensure the product is sterile and undamaged.
2. Verify that the patient has no contraindications as mentioned in the manual.

Insertion Process:

1. Insert the GlideThruTM Peel-Away Sheath followed by the Spring-Wire Guide into the intended vessel.
2. Use the guide with the Arrow Advancer for accurate placement.

Priming and Flow Rates:

1. Priming Volume: 0.63 mL
2. Gravity Flow Rate: 970 mL/hr
3. Pump Flow Rate: 5300 mL/hr
4. Maximum Pressure Injection Flow Rate: 5 mL/sec

Cleaning and Storage:

1. After use, clean the product as per recommended guidelines.

Contraindications: The Pressure Injectable PICC is contraindicated wherever there is the presence of device-related infections or the presence of thrombosis in the intended insertion vessel or catheter pathway. Clinical assessment of the patient must be completed to ensure no contraindications exist.

• Priming volumes are approximate and are done without accessories.
• Flow rate values are approximate and are determined using deionized water at 100 cm head height.
• Pump flow rates are determined at maximum pump pressure of 10 psig and represent approximate flow capabilities.
• Pressure injection flow rates are determined at the injector pressure setting of 300 psi maximum using media of 11.8 centipoise viscosity, with 152 cm pressure tubing.
