SMART KITCHEN Plus Hand Probe, Temperature Sample
SmartKitchen I+ measurement device is designed for temperature sampling in the food industry.
- Temperature range: -25 °C … +110 °C
- Temperature accuracy : ± 0.5 °C
- Measuring pin material: Stainless steel
- Measuring pin length : 140 mm
Device is powered by two interchangeable AA lithium batteries. Typical battery lifetime is 24 months. If the device is not used for a while, it is recommended to turn off the power.
USING THE SMARTKITCHEN I+ MEASUREMENT DEVICE
The purpose of use
I+ hand probe is designed to be used in the following situations:
- Incoming inspection of raw materials
- Temperatures from lunch buffet
- Temperatures from food production
- Temperatures from transportation
Preconditions
- The use of I+ device requires purchase and activation of a SmartKitchen license.
- Activate device for your SmartKitchen account.
- Create temperature sampling places, groups, and items on your SmartKitchen account (Look SmartKitchen service manual “Sample”).
- Install the KitchenHelper application on your phone from the Google Play Store.
Making the food sample temperature measurement
- Ensure that the device is switched on.
- Open the KitchenHelper application and sign in (if required). Select “Temperature”.
- Select correct measurement group, object and a person making the measurement.
- Place the measuring pin in the food.
- Wait until the temperature reading stabilizes in KitchenHelper application.
- Select “Save” and write a comment, if necessary.
- If the device will not be used for a while, it is recommended to turn off the power.
NOTE! THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CHANGES MADE IN THE SMARTKITCHEN ACCOUNT (TEMPERATURE GROUPS, -OBJECTS, ETC.) REQUIRES RESTARTING THE APPLICATION.
