Product Usage Instructions
Special Conditions for Safe Use:
The indicators must be supplied from a SELF or PELV supply or from an approved
supply with double or reinforced insulation as per standard IEC 60079-14.
Installation:
Both models have four M6 clearance holes for surface mounting. Ensure proper
spacing as indicated in the manual.
Health and Safety Requirements:
Ensure loop-powered 4/20mA indicators are connected as per the provided
instructions. Use the supplied stopping plug and temporary hole plug for cable
entries.
Connections:
Follow the provided indicator assembly connector diagram for correct wiring.
Terminals 2 & 4 are internally linked, as well as terminals 5 & 6 for joining
return cable and wire screens.
Repair and Disposal:
Do not attempt to repair faulty units; return them to BEKA associates or your
local agent. Dispose of units correctly following proper guidelines.

Description
Field mounting Ex eb, 4/20mA loop-powered digital indicators which display the input current in engineering units. These indicators may be used as an alternative to a certified flameproof Ex d indicator in Zones 1 & 2, or as a replacement for an Ex n instrument in Zone 2.
