User Manual
Description
The BA496G surface mounting kit enables a BEKA ‘G’ GRP or Stainless Steel
field instrument to replace a surface mounting BEKA ‘E’ or ‘D’ field mounting
instrument using the existing surface mounting holes.
Each mounting kit consists of the following components all manufactured from
316 stainless steel:

Assembly procedure
– see diagram below
- Remove the BEKA ‘E’ or ‘D’ instrument by unscrewing the two fixing screws which are located in the terminal compartment.
- Fix the adaptor plate to the surface using the two existing fixing holes which originally secured the BEKA ‘E’ or ‘D’ instrument. The adaptor plate is asymmetric and should be installed with the two M5 threaded holes closest together at the top.
- Secure the ‘G’ instrument to the adaptor plate using the four supplied M5 x 20 screws as shown below.
