Important, please read!
When expecting freezing temperatures, timers should be removed from the hose faucet and stored indoors to avoid potential freeze damage.
The filter traps dirt particles, prolonging the life of the timer. Clean the filter regularly and replace it if worn.

TIMER FEATURES

  • DIAL—Rotate the dial to customize your watering schedule.
  • +/- BUTTONS—Use these buttons to adjust time and program.
  • RAIN DELAY—While in AUTO press to activate Rain Delay.
  • ARROW—Moves cursor around the screen during programming.
  • STATION—Moves between Station 1 and Station 2.
  • MANUAL/CLEAR—Press to water manually or to clear programming.
  • RESET—Press to reset back to factory settings.
  • AUTO—Timer waters according to your customized schedule.
  • SET CLOCK—Set the time of day.
  • START TIME—Select what time you would like to start watering.
  • HOW LONG—Determine how long to water
  • HOW OFTEN—Choose how often you will water
  • OFF—Turn off all watering.

INSTALLING THE BATTERIES

  1. Remove the tray on the back of the timer by sliding or pulling it out.

  2. Insert two AAA (1.5V) alkaline batteries (not included) and replace the tray.
    NOTE: Firmly replace the battery tray to ensure water resistance and increase battery life. You will know the battery tray is fully inserted if it does not pull out easily.

  3. Used-up or dead batteries must be removed from the timer and disposed of properly. Replace batteries when the low battery icon appears on display. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. Batteries may explode or leak.

PROGRAMMING THE TIMER

SET CLOCK AND DAY

  1. Turn the dial to SET CLOCK.
  2. Using the +/- buttons, set the time of day, including AM and PM. The timer advances faster if the button is held down.
  3. Press the ARROW button to set the current day.
  4. Press the +/- buttons to move between and select the current day of the week.
  5. Press the ARROW button to toggle back to the time of day.
  6. Turn the dial to save changes

WATERING SCHEDULES AND START TIMES

This timer features three customizable watering schedules [A], [B], [C]. A watering schedule may include start times for Station 1, Station 2, or both Station 1 and Station 2. A watering start time is the time of day the timer will begin to water all programmed stations; one after another.
NOTE: Only watering schedule [A] is required. Advanced Users may use watering schedules [B] and [C] for additional watering.

  1. Turn the dial to START TIME.

  2. Watering schedule [A] is automatically selected and the time selector will be blinking.
    NOTE: The timer will not function without at least watering

  3. Using the + / – buttons, set the time you want all watering to begin, including AM and PM. The timer advances faster if the button is held down. A box is placed around the watering schedule [A] noting a start time has been added.
    NOTE : The timer will not function without at least one start time entered.

  4. 4. Both Station 1 and Station 2 are automatically selected (noted by boxes around them) when a start time is added. Both Station 1 and Station 2 will water, one after the other, beginning at your selected start time. To remove a station from watering schedule [A] Press the STATION button to cycle through and select Station 1 or Station 2. Press the – button to toggle the station off (removing the box). Press the + button to toggle the station on (adding the box).
    NOTE: The timer will not function without at least one station selected.

  5. Advanced Users – To program watering schedules [B] or [C] press the ARROW button to move through a select {B] or [C]. The selected schedule will be blinking. Repeat steps 3-5 to program additional watering schedules. Use watering schedules [B] and [C] if you need additional watering schedules.

  6. Turn the dial to save changes and move to the next step.

HOW LONG

  1. Turn the dial to HOW LONG.

  2. Station 1 and the time selector will be blinking.

  3. Use the +/- buttons to add a 1 to 360-minute watering duration. The timer advances faster if the button is held down. A box is placed around Station 1.
    NOTE : A watering duration is required for Station 1 to water.

  4. To select Station 2 press the STATION button. The station and the time selector will be blinking.
    NOTE : To move between stations press the STATION butt on.

  5. Use the +/- buttons to add a 1 to 360-minute watering duration. The timer advances faster if the button is held down. A box is placed around Station 2.
    NOTE: A watering duration is required for Station 2 to water.
    NOTE: To start over press CLEAR.

  6. Turn the dial to save changes and move to the next step.

HOW OFTEN

  1. Turn the dial to HOW OFTEN.

  2. Watering schedule [A] will be blinking.
    NOTE: The timer will not function without at least the watering schedule [A] selected.

  3. There are two ways to set your watering frequency for Watering Schedule [A]; Days of the Week or intervals. Only one option may be selected for Watering Schedule [A].

Option 1- Days of the Week- Select specific days you water to water:

  • Press the + or – button to move the cursor down to the Days of the Week.
  • Use the ARROW button to move to the desired day (S, M, T, W, T, F, S). The selected day of the week will be blinking.
  • Press the + button to toggle the Day of the Week on (a box is placed on the day).
  • Press the – button to toggle the Day of the Week off (the box is removed from the day).
  • Repeat to select any combination of days. Option 2- Interval- Select an interval period you want to water:
  • Press the + or – button to move the cursor down to the Interval selections.
  • Use the ARROW button to move to INT.
  • Press the + button to increase the interval. Press the – button to decrease the interval.
  • You may choose to interval water every 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, or 1 to 7 days.
    NOTE: To start over press CLEAR.
    NOTE: The timer will not function without at least one day of the week or an interval selected for the Watering Schedule [A].

Advanced Users – To program Watering

  • Schedules [B] or [C] press the ARROW button to move through and select [B] or [C].
  • The selected schedule will be blinking.
  • Repeat steps to program watering frequency for additional Watering Schedules [B] and C].
  • Turn to the dial to save changes and complete programming.

CONGRATULATIONS!
Your timer is now programmed. Turning your dial to AUTO allows your timer to water according to programmed time, station, duration, and frequency.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES RAIN DELAY
Rain delay allows you to postpone watering for a set period. To access the rain delay, follow the steps below.

  1. With the dial on AUTO, press the button.
  2. Using the +/- buttons select a delay of 1 to 7 days.
  3. The screen will flash between the clock and the hours remaining before the programmed cycle resumes.
  4. To remove rain delay, turn the dial to OFF and then back to AUTO.

MANUAL/HAND WATERING

This feature allows you to manually water without interrupting your set schedule. To access this feature, follow the steps below.

  1. There are two ways to manual water: all stations as programmed or selected stations.

To manually water all stations as programmed:

  • With the dial on AUTO, press the MANUAL button.

  • “ALL” will be displayed and the timer will water all stations as programmed.
    To manual water-specific stations or durations:

  • With the dial on AUTO, press the MANUAL button.

  • Press the STATION button to select the desired station.

  • Using the +/- buttons, select the watering duration from 1 to 360 minutes.
    NOTE: There may be a slight delay between the time the manual button is pressed and when watering begins.

  • The screen will flash between the clock and the time remaining before automatic programming resumes.

  • To stop manual watering, turn the dial to OFF.

  • Turn the dial back to AUTO to resume your program watering schedule.

TROUBLESHOOTING

WATER DOES NOT COME ON AT DESIRED TIME.

Check if:

  • The clock is set to the correct time, including AM and PM.
  • Dial is set to “Auto”
  • The start time is set to the desired time, including AM and PM.
  • Rain Delay is on.

TIMER DOES NOT WATER.

Check if:

  • The timer is set to AUTO.
  • The hose faucet is on.
  • Batteries are low.
  • The clock is set to the correct time, including AM and PM.
  • Rain Delay is on.

THE WATER WON’T TURN OFF
Check if:

  • HOW LONG is set to the desired time?
  • HOW OFTEN is set to the desired interval hour or day.

WORKING WATER PRESSURE

  • Minimum: 10 psi
  • Maximum: 100 psi

WORKING TEMPERATURE

  • Maximum: Do not exceed 120°F
  • Minimum: Keep from freezing

For outdoor use with cold water only. Not for use with appliances.
