Product Overview
- A. Main Housing (”Holster”): Designed to securely hold and support your J1772 handle and cable.
- B. Installation Bracket: A bracket to secure and attach Mount Housing.
- C. Screws: Two (2) screws for attaching the Installation Bracket to the wall.
- D. Drywall Anchors: Two (2) expandable drywall anchors for when attaching. Installation Bracket to studs is not possible.
Preparation

Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Cable and Handle: This product is designed to
securely hold and support your J1772 EV charging cable and handle. Please make sure you have the appropriate cable and handle that are compatible with your EV charging system. Mounting Location: Select a suitable location for installing the product. Ensure the chosen wall or surface is sturdy and capable of supporting the weight of the product, as well as the J1772 handle and cable. -
Power Tools: You will need a drill with the appropriate drill bit for the mounting screws and drywall anchors. This will allow you to securely attach the installation bracket to the wall.

Screwdriver: Have a screwdriver available to tighten the screws during the installation process.

Level : To ensure a level installation, have a bubble or laser level on hand to check the alignment of the installation bracket.

Pencil or Marker : It is helpful to have a pencil or marker to mark the mounting hole locations on the wall.

How to Install
Step 1:
- Mark and Drill Starter Holes: Mark the desired location and drill holes for mounting plate (Part A).
- With the appropriate drill bit, carefully drill starter holes at the marked locations.
Step 2:
- Secure Installation Bracket into place: Position the Installation Bracket over the drilled starter holes. Utilize provided screws to secure the Installation Bracket to the wall and stud.
- If mounting on drywall or a similar surface, use the included drywall anchors for added stability. Use a screwdriver to securely tighten the screws, ensuring the bracket is firmly attached to the wall (see Figure A).
Step 3:
- Attach the Main Housing Unit (“Holster”): Slide the Main Housing Unit onto the Installation Bracket (see Figure B).
- Confirm the Main Housing Unit is securely engaged with the Installation Bracket before use
- If you plan to secure Holster to wooden stud behind the drywall, please utilize appropriate stud screw, which are normally 1 5/8 inches long (NOT INCLUDED).
