Step-by-Step Installation
-
Step 1: Separate the front and back pieces of the mounting bracket.
-
Step 2: Attach the front piece of the mounting bracket to the backside of the charging station using the Socket Cap Screws (Part D). The top of the mounting bracket should be aligned with the top of the charging station.
-
Step 3: Attach the back piece of the mounting bracket to the wall using the Phillips Hex Head Screws (Part E).
- IMPORTANT: Locate a stud within the wall. Use the top 2 holes of the back piece of the mounting bracket to secure it onto the stud.
- CLEARANCE: Position the back piece of the mounting bracket so that the charging station is a minimum of 18 inches (48 centimeters) above the floor.
- DISTANCE TO NEMA OUTLET: Position the back piece of the mounting bracket so that it so that it is equal or less than 12 inches (30cm) from the NEMA outlet.
- MOUNTING SCREW RECOMMENDATIONS: For finished walls with wood studs, use Part E. For Masonry walls, use Parts F and H.

Status, Indicator and Buzzers
Auto-Restart
If a charging session is interrupted, the status indicator lights will
flash. When an error occurs, the EVSE will stop charging and self-monitor the
error condition. The LED indicator will continue to flash red until the issue
causing the interruption is resolved. If the issue is resolved within 60
seconds, the EVSE will automatically reset.
NOTE : If the error occurs within the first 5 seconds of charging, the
EVSE will trigger a permanent fault.
Permanent Fault (How to Reset EVSE)
If a permanent fault occurs, or the EVSE does not auto-restart, perform a
manual reset as follows:
- Step 1: Refer to Section 6.1 to identify the type of error by the number of red flashes.
- Step 2: Unplug the EVSE from your electric vehicle.
- Step 3: Power down the EVSE by switching the upstream circuit breaker to the ‘OFF’ position. Step 4: Wait 2 minutes.
- Step 5: Turn the upstream circuit breaker to the ‘ON’ position.
- Step 6: If the red fault indicator light no longer flashes, the EVSE is ready for charging.
- Step 7: If the red fault indicator light continues to flash after the reset, please contact Customer Service.

- To maintain optimal operating conditions, we recommend periodic inspection and cleaning of the EVSE.
- When cleaning the EVSE, use a soft cloth dampened with soap and water to gently remove any dirt, debris, or dust. If any of the components, including the power cable or charging connector, are damaged, do not use the charging station and turn off the circuit breaker connected to the EVSE.
WARNING : Do not use cleaning solvents when cleaning the EVSE or any of its components. Do not rinse, submerge, or hose down the EVSE.
