- A: You will need a 3/8 Ratchet, a 3/8 x 8 extension, a 7/16 socket, and a 7/16 wrench.
Kit And Tools
Kit includes:
- 1 – Ball Protection Guard
- 2 – 1-1/4” Threaded Bolts
- 3 – Washers
- 2 – Nylon Nuts
Tools needed:
- 3/8” Ratchet
- 3/8” x 8” extention
- 7/16” socket
- 7/16” wrench
Installation Instructions
- STEP 1: Turn the on/off switch “OFF” and unplug the power cord. On controller side of machine, loosen bolt and remove wire clamp. Reinstall the wire clamp with 1-1/4” bolt from kit.
- STEP 2: Go to opposite side of machine and remove the nut and bolt (B) from the lower portion of the wheel guard and replace with 1-1/4” bolt from kit. Upper bolt (A) was already removed and replaced with 1 -1/4” bolt from kit, in Step 1.
- STEP 3: Install the new guard and the upper and lower bolts, washers and nuts. On upper bolt use washer then nut. On lower use one washer on each side of the wheel guard.
- STEP 4: Move the throwing head up and down to make sure wires hold in place and double-check the tightness of the nylon nuts on the guard.
