Introduction
The Manual Grease Gun 3-Way Fill (Model No: AK445.V3) offers three ways to fill – cartridge, bulk, or manual capability. It comes with a rigid delivery tube and push-on hydraulic 4-jaw coupling. The contoured pump handle makes operation easy. The grease gun accepts standard 400g cartridges.

Operation
Grease Gun Loading

1. Separate the gun head from the grease gun barrel.
2. Withdraw the plunger rod fully.
3. Remove the plastic cap from the end of the grease gun cartridge and insert it into the barrel.
4. Remove the seal from the cartridge and mount the grease gun head back onto the barrel.
5. Release the plunger rod using its tab.
6. Pump the grease gun handle until grease flows.

• Q: How do I load a cartridge into the grease gun?
  A: To load a cartridge, follow these steps: Separate the gun head from the grease gun barrel. Withdraw the plunger rod fully. INTRODUCTION

3-Way fill with cartridge, bulk or manual capability. Supplied with rigid delivery tube and push-on hydraulic 4-jaw coupling. Contoured pump handle. Accepts standard 400g cartridges.

SPECIFICATION

OPERATION

WARNING! An empty grease cartridge or grease may be under pressure from the spring in the barrel, use caution when removing it.

1. GREASE GUN LOADING

2. Separate the gun head from the grease gun barrel (fig.1).

3. CARTRIDGE LOADING

4. Withdraw the plunger rod fully

5. Remove plastic cap from end of grease gun cartridge, insert into barrel of grease gun.

6. Remove seal from grease gun cartridge and mount grease gun head back onto the barrel.

7. Release the plunger rod using its tab.

8. Pump the grease gun handle until grease flows.

9. SUCTION LOADING

10. Put open end of grease barrel into grease container to a depth of 50mm.

11. Slowly pull back the plunger handle (fig.1) to pull the grease into the barrel. Lock the rod with the tab (fig.1).

12. Shake the grease gun to settle the grease into the barrel.

13. Mount grease gun head back onto the barrel.

14. Release the plunger rod using its tab.

15. Pump the grease gun handle until grease flows continuously.

16. FILLER PUMP LOADING

17. Connect delivery mechanism from dispenser to the gun head filler plug (fig.2).

18. Check that the bulk filler valves are compatible with gun filler plug.

19. Wipe both the grease fittings clean of any dirt before filling.

20. Connect the bulk filler valve to the grease bulk filler pump, keeping weight on the grease gun to keep it connected.

21. Pumping becomes very hard once the grease gun barrel is filled.

22. Pump grease gun handle until grease flows continuously.
    USING THE GUN

23. The coupler has jaws which snap onto a grease fitting. Push the coupler straight onto the grease fitting to form a good fit.

24. Operate the grease gun as square onto the grease fitting as possible.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.
