  1. Before installation, check the guide rail direction of roof rack guide rail.
    Note: The direction of indication can be determined by the molded arrows of the cross bar bracket and the clamp foot bracket. The crescent shape facing the front of the vehicle is a larger part.

  2. Select the front cross bar bracket A (Longer) and find the left front and right front clamp bracket C.

  3. Use M6 wrench D to loosen M6 * 11-0.5mm screw E on the clamp cross bar counterclockwise.

  4. Use M6 screw E with F to fix clamp foot mounting bracket C to cross bar bracket A (when installing to the roof, it is not necessary to lock the screw completely to adjust the length of cross bar).

  5. Use an M6 wrench to loosen the M6 * 40-1.0mm screw on the clamp foot bracket C counterclockwise, fully open the foot clamp claw, and fix the cross bar on the side beam.(RH side is adjustable)

  6. After installing the roof rack onto the roof, use an M4 wrench to lock the M6 * 40 screw on the clamping bracket clockwise.

  7. Use a wrench to tighten M6 screw E to ensure that the roof rack can be firmly fixed to the roof.

  8. The installation steps of the rear roof rack are the same as those of the front rack.

  9. Ensure that the roof rack is correctly installed on the roof rail.

  10. After installing the roof rack, shake each rack to ensure its firmness.

NOTES:

  1. It takes about 4.6N. M torque to tighten the front and rear mounting legs.
  2. Put the instructions and Allen key into the glove box for next replacement or disassembl

Before Installation Needs To Know:

  1. Read this instruction carefully before installation.
  2. Clean the roof and roof rails before installation.
  3. Operation of the vehicle with roof racks installed may cause a noticeable change in wind noise.
  4. The short bolt (E) may be directly installed onto the crossbar (A OR B), but it needs to be removed first in order to install the bracket.

Load:

  1. Check your owner’s instruction manual for maximum roof load capacity.

  2. On road capacity = maximum roof load capacity – load carrier wight

  3. Off road capacity=on road capacity /1.5

  4. The load may not significantly exceed the load carrier’s width, and it should always distribute evenly across the load carrier and with the lowest possible.

  5. Prepare specialized racks when carrying bikes, surfboards, kayaks, canoes, ski board, and snowboards.

Driving:

  1. Adapt your speed according to the load weight and the current driving conditions, such as the road conditions, wind speed and direction, traffic conditions and applicable speed limits, do not exceed 120 km/h (75 mph) in any circumstances, and observe speed limits.
  2. Drive over speed bumps with 10 km/h (6 mph) maximum speed.
  3. The vehicle’s total height increases when loading, note and observe height limits.
  4. The vehicle’s driving characteristics and braking performance change and its vulnerability to side-winds increases when a load is carried on the roof.
  5. Check the tension of the load carrier frequently, especially when traveling on rough roads.

Maintenance:

  1. Periodic check to ensure all hardware remains secure and tight.
  2. Roof racks must be removed before drive through an automatic car wash.
  3. Replace defective parts in time.
  4. When not in use, remove roof racks and store safely.
  5. After removing the roof racks, re-install the factory covers, bolts,
