Loading Battery
- Open the Battery Chamber Cover located at the side of the camera Insert one 1 .5V AA size alkaline battery. (Make sure the direction is correct)
- Close the battery chamber cover.Remove the battery if it is not to be use for an extended period. This will reduce the possibility of battery leakage.
Loading the Film
- Slide the lens cover switch to open the lens cover and turn on the camera.
- Open the back cover by sliding the back cover latch upwards.
- Insert the film cartridge into the film chamber.
- Pull the film leader out until it aligns with the Film Take-up Spool’s hook.(Make sure the film is lying flat.)
- Check that the sprocket wheel teeth engage the film perforation, and then close the back cover.
- Press the shutter button a few times to advance the film until the number “1” appears in the film counter.
- You can confirm if there is film in your camera or not by looking at the film check window.
Holding your Camera
- Always use both hands to keep your camera steady. Take pictures with sunlight behind you.
- When holding the camera vertically ,always position it with the flash at the top.
- Be careful not to place your fingers over the Lens Flash Lamp or Viewfinder
Taking Pictures
- Open the lens cover and compose the picture. Make sure your subject is at least 5 ft. (1.5m) from the camera
- The film will automatically wind to the next frame when the shutter button is released.
- When you have finished taking photos. close the lens cover to save battery power.
Focusing
The lens is fixed in focus previously. No need to worry about focusing, but no closer than 5 ft.(1.5m)
Built-in Flash
Fill Flash lt is advisable to select the fill flash if the main subject is standing in shade on a sunny day, the flash will illuminate the shadow areas of your subject. Push the lens cover switch to the Fill position and wait for the ready light to come on before taking the photograph.
Red-Eye Reduction
“Red-Eye” is caused when the flash is reflected from the retina of the eye.It
occurs mostly in low light condition .To ensure that your subjects always look
their best, your camera is equipped with a red-eye reduction system. The red-
eye reduction light glows whenever the green “flash ready light” is on.
Unloading the Film
When the film is finished, the film advance will not start again. Slide the
rewind switch to the rewind position and the film will automatically rewind.
After the film is fully rewind, the motor will stop, and “s” will be seen in
the Frame Counter Window. Open the back cover and unload the film.
Proper Care of Your Camera
The temperature range in which the camera functions properly is between 40°C
and -10°C(104 F and 14°C)Take care not to expose the camera to sudden changes
in temperature. This may cause moisture to condense on the inside of the
camera. Always protect it from dirt, rain dampness or excessive heat. Keep
your camera safe from sudden vibration.
Do not place the camera near equipment that has strong magnetic field such as
television or radio. Avoid touching the lens. To clean the lens, wipe it clean
with photographic lens cleaning tissue or a cotton cloth Avoid using alcohol
or other chemical solvents on the camera body.
