Product Usage Instructions

Device Management

  1. Ensure your PC is on the same network segment as the device.
  2. Confirm your computer’s IP address.
  3. Check the device’s IP address and port to match with the computer.
  4. Connect the device to the computer via TCP/IP.
  5. Open Google Chrome and visit the login page using the default IP address, username, and password.

User Management

The User Page allows you to edit user information and register users

  • Add User:
    • User ID: Input the user ID number as a unique identifier.
    • Password: Verify the password for the user.
    • Identify Mode: Support RFID Card ID + Password or RFID Card + Password.
    • User Name: Input the user’s name.
    • Card   No: Display the user’s card number for verification.
    • Group: Select the access control group for the user.
    • Personnel Validity Period: Set the start and expiration date.
    • Click Download to get the user EXCEL template for editing personnel information.

Network Settings

  • Internet:
    • Sac921 supports Ethernet (Cable) or WIFI mode. Select WAN mode for internet connection.
    • Auto Mode: Automatically connects to the internet via WIFI or Ethernet (Cable).
  • Ethernet:
    • Activate Ethernet mode IP Setup to choose Static IP or DHCP for network information.
  • WIFI:
    • Select AP or WIFI AP mode for the WIFI connection.
    • Manual input AP name and password.
  • Communication Mode:
    • Select Server or Client mode with default port 5010.
    • Activate communication password for security.

Basic Setup – System Info

View hardware basic parameters including Serial Number, Firmware Version, User and Record Capacity, etc. Ethernet and WIFI MAC addresses are displayed here.

Device Setting

Configure the Device ID number and Webserver login password here.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I reset the device to factory settings?

A: To reset the device to factory settings, locate the reset button on the device and press it for at least 10 seconds until the LEDs flash. The device will then revert to its default settings.

Device Management

  • Sac921 uses a Web Server to manage the device. Before managing the terminal please check the PC’s network is at the same network segment in the network.
  • The sac921 default IP address is 192.168.0.218 / User Name: Admin / Password: 12345.

Check IP &Device Connection

  • Step two: Check the device IP address in the device and ensure the port is the same as the computer. In the example, the default device ip is 192.168.0.218 Step three:
  • Connect the device to the computer via TCP\IP. You can confirm if TCP\IP is ok in the picture below.

User Management

Add User

  • User ID Input user ID number as System Employee Unique Identifier Password user verify password
  • Identify Mode support RFID Card, ID+Password, and RFID Card + Password
  • Personnel Validity Period: Set the start date to the expiration date.
  • User Name Input User Name
  • Card No Display user verify card number
  • Group select the access control group for the user.
  • Click “Download” to download the user EXCEL template, manually edit personnel information, and support the import and export of personnel information.

Network- Internet

  • Sac921 supports the “Internet” option to set up the hardware’s network work mode: Ethernet (Cable) or WIFI.
  • WAN Mode: Select the internet connection mode: Ethernet (Cable) or WIFI. And the device’s DNS address.

  • Option: Active Ethernet mode
  • IP Setup: Select the Static IP or DHCP to get the device network information.

Network WIFI

  • WIFI Mode Select AP or WIFI AP mode Device works as WIFI AP. The device can be connected by WIFI to manage the device via the Webserver.
  • AP Name Mode: Manual named the AP or user default
  • Default Name: Display the AP name.

  • Option: Active the option
  • SSID: Input the wifi name (SSID Name)

  • Communication Mode Select the Server or Client mode for a device
  • Port : The network communication port. Device Default port is 5010.
  • Comm PW : Active the communication password

Access Control-Normally Open Close

  • Normally Open/Cloud: To set the device to control access for either normally open or normally closed periods.

Access Control-Reader

  • SAC921 access control supports the Wiegand Reader and RS485 Readers.
  • Setup Readers: Reader 1 is set by default as the entry reader, while Reader 2 is set by default as the exit reader.
  • Additionally, support is provided for anti-passback functionality for a single door.

  • Note: The SAC921 supports only one channel of standard Wiegand RFID reader and two channels of Anviz RS485 readers.

Alarm Setup

  • Alarm Status: Support the alarm signal input.
  • Relay Normal-Open: Upon receiving an alarm signal, the relay switches to a normally open state, for instance in the event of a fire, the door remains open.

Period Setting
