Usage

Power On, Power Off, and Fingerprint Recognition

  • In the power-off state, press the “physical power button “for about 1 second to power on AYANEO FLIP. The power button indicator will stay lit in white after powering on.
  • In the power-on state, go to the desktop view > Window” ] “›Power”  “> Shutdown”  Power off ” to power off AYANEO FLIP. Press and hold the “physical power button    ” for about 8 seconds to force shut down AYANEO FLIP.
    • Note : Forced shutdown is not recommended in normal usage scenarios, as it may result in data loss.
  • Fingerprint recognition is supported and requires logging in to a Microsoft account or setting up a local account and password to enable Windows Hello biometric recognition.

Go to desktop view > Window > Settings” ” > Accounts > Sign-in options” *

Fingerprint recognition (Windows Hello) to enrol for secure fingerprint login. Each account supports a maximum of ten fingerprints.

Sleep and Wake

  • In the power-on state, tap the “physical power button “to put AYANEO FLIP to sleep, or click on the desktop view >

Window “> Power” “> Sleep” “.

  • In the sleep state, tap the “physical power button ” to wake up AYANEO FLIP. If Windows Hello fingerprint secure login is set up, tap the power button to wake the screen and then lightly touch the fingerprint sensor to enter the OS interface without entering a PIN or password. The screen may take 1-3 seconds to light up during different environmental interfaces.

Optical Finger Navigation Mouse

  • AYANEO FLIP supports simulated mouse operation. Use your finger to gently touch the optical finger navigation to control the mouse cursor movement. Click or lightly touch to trigger the left mouse button, and press and hold for about 0.5 seconds to trigger the right mouse button.

Text Input (AYANEO FLIP KB Only)

  • When text input is required, you can use the built-in 77-key QWERTY physical keyboard of AYANEO FLIP KB. It features independent shortcut function keys, supporting volume adjustment, brightness adjustment, screenshot, media playback control, screen mirroring mode switching, application full-screen switching, and a calculator. With the Fn hotkey, it supports F1-F12 functions, meeting the needs of text input and various usage scenarios.

Text Input (AYANEO FLIP DS Only)

  • When text input is required, on the desktop interface, long-press the bottom status bar to bring up the menu. Choose
  • Taskbar Settings then select “Touch Keyboard  and choose “Always” to keep the touch keyboard visible on the status bar. Click the  to summon the touch keyboard and use touch input for typing.

Secondary Screen (AYANEO FLIP DS Only)

  • In addition to the main screen, AYANEO FLIP DS is equipped with an additional 3.5-inch touchscreen display. The screen supports single-touch and swipe gestures and is set by default to extend mode as a secondary screen. When combined with the AYASpace software and dedicated secondary screen interactive buttons , it allows the configuration to display various real-time information during the operation of AYANEO FLIP DS.
  • For specific display configuration parameters and interface interactions, please refer to the latest AYASpace software version for accurate information.

Volume

  • Press the to increase the volume step by step, or long-press to continuously increase the volume. Press the to decrease the volume step by step, or long-press to continuously decrease the volume. Alternatively, on the desktop interface, click on the volume icon in the lower right corner and slide to adjust the volume size )

WLAN and Bluetooth

  • To connect to a WLAN network, click on the WLAN icon in the lower right corner of the desktop interface > click in the pop-up menu, select the network name you want to connect to, enter the password, and click “Next” to connect to the WLAN network.
  • To connect a Bluetooth device, click on the Bluetooth icon in the lower right corner of the screen > Add Bluetooth device click”  to select the Bluetooth device you want to connect to.

Lighting Effects

  • AYANEO FLIP KB supports adjusting the keyboard backlight and power button indicator light. The lighting effects can be customized using the AYASpace application for color, brightness, and status. AYANEO FLIP DS only supports adjusting the power button indicator light, and specific settings are subject to updates in the AYASpace version.

Battery and Charging

  • When AYANEO FLIP is charging, the top indicator light stays red.. Use the provided adapter to charge AYANEO FLIP and avoid usina uncertified adapters. as it may cause internal component damage and pose unpredictable risks.
  • AYANEO-FLIP-KB,-FLIP-DS-Handhelds-FIG \(33\)When the Type-C cable is plugged into the power source, avoid prolonged skin contact with the plug, as it may cause discomfort or injury. Do not attempt to replace the battery of AYANEO FLIP on your own, as you may damage the battery, leading to overheating, which could potentially result in fire hazards and personal injury.
  • The lithium-ion battery of AYANEO FLIP should be serviced or recycled by AYANEO. It must be disposed of separately from  household waste. Please follow local environmental regulations for battery disposal. The battery replacement should only beperformed by AYANEO or an authorized service provider. Replacing it with the wrong battery model may pose an explosion risk.

Cleaning

  • Please use a non-lint cloth to clean AYANEO FLIP. Avoid getting any openings wet and refrain from using aerosol sprays, solvents, or abrasives.

Notes

  • This product operates on Microsoft’s Windows 11 64-bit Home edition. In the desktop interface, basic Windows operations can be performed using the touchscreen.
  • In desktop mode, swiping up on the screen with three fingers simultaneously brings up the task view for quick app switching and desktop creation. Swiping down minimizes all applications,
  • In case of unresponsive applications that cannot be closed normally, long-press the window ” HE “, select “Task Manager” from the pop-up menu, and choose “End Task” for the unresponsive process.

Medical Device Interference

  • Certain components inside AYANEO FLIP emit magnetic and radio frequency electromagnetic fields that may interfere with medical devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, or other medical equipment. Maintain a safe distance between medical devices and AYANEO FLIP. Consult your physician and the medical device manufacturer for relevant information. If you suspect interference with your pacemaker, defibrillator, or other medical devices, discontinue use.

Warranty

  • AYANEO guarantees the attached hardware products and accessories for one year from the original retail purchase date. Normal wear and tear are not covered, and damage resulting from accidents or misuse is not guaranteed. For service, visit the AYANEO store or an authorized service provider. Available service options depend on the country or region of service request and may be limited to the original sales countries and regions. Charges for calls and international shipping may apply, depending on your location.
  • When submitting a valid claim under the warranty service policy, AYANEO will repair, replace, or refund your AYANEO FLIP at its discretion. Your warranty rights are in addition to the rights provided by local consumer laws. When filing a claim under this warranty policy, detailed purchase receipt information may be required.
