Product Usage Instructions

Installation:

1. Identify the parts included: SWRSU-38D Module, SU-38D Harness, Antenna Adapter, SWC Cable
2. Refer to the installation diagram for proper connections of +12V Constant, +12V ACC, Ground, Antenna Turn on, Amp Turn on, and speaker connections
3. Connect the 3.5MM SWC cable to the 4-pin port on the module and set DIP switch settings accordingly
4. Ensure proper connection of the aftermarket radio and follow the aftermarket radio selector instructions

INSTALLATION DIAGRAM

STARLINK RETENTION:
To retain Starlink, separate the Starlink module from the radio and reconnect the harness and antenna connectors to the module. Stuff the Starlink module back into the dash and secure it with zip ties or tape to prevent it from rattling.
NOTE: The front speaker audio will be lost if the Starlink module is removed from the system.

DIP SWITCH SETTINGS

AFTERMARKET RADIO DIP SWITCH SETTINGS:

SUBARU STEERING WHEEL CONTROL DIP SWITCH SETTING:

3.5MM SWC CABLE
Plug in the 3.SMM to 4-Pin SWC cable to the SWC module and the 3.5mm plug to the aftermarket radio SWC port.
NOTE: Insulate the Blue/Yellow wire or 3.5mm plug if not being used.

For aftermarket radios that have wires for SWC connections, cut off the 3.5mm plug on the Crux SWC Cable and connect the SWC wires as follows:

**NOTE*** You will need to look at the buttons on your radio. Please see above and match.

DIP switch settings for Pioneer receivers:
Location of the switch may vary on the Interface (Comer or Mlddle). Please note that Interfaces with DIP at the end of the LOT# are installed with the switch.

• Set DIP switch to “3V3” position for support of NEW generation Pioneer steering wheel button control.
• Set DIP switch to “5V” position for support of OLD generation Pioneer steering wheel button control.
