Product Information
The CAR710X is a media receiver designed and engineered in the USA. It features a 7-inch digital TFT display and supports both Android AutoTM and CarPlayTM. The unit comes with a wiring diagram that shows inputs and outputs, including 20PIN and 18PIN connectors for various functions such as IGNITION/ACC 12V(+), GROUND(-), BATTERY(+), ILLUMINATION, REVERSE(+), SWCIN, and more. The unit uses one 15 amp ATC mini-style fuse located on the power connector.
The CAR710X also supports subwoofer output, rear camera input, and SiriusXM (connect tuner and subscription sold separately). The unit has a trim ring and comes with mounting screws. The control locations include RESET, VOL-, VOL+, Power/Mute, SOURCE, and VOICE ACTIVATION BUTTON. The main menu includes Radio/USB/SiriusXM/BT Phone/Android Auto/Apple CarPlay/AV In/BT Audio/Equalizer/Settings modes.
Product Usage Instructions
Installation
Install the CAR710X unit in a location that is not subject to dust, dirt,
or excessive vibration. Use the included trim ring and mounting screws to
secure the unit in place. Refer to the wiring diagram for the proper
connection of inputs and outputs. When replacing a fuse, ensure that the
correct type and amperage are used.
Main Menu
To access the main menu, press the corresponding icon on the display. The
main menu includes various modes such as Radio, USB, SiriusXM, BT Phone,
Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, AV In, BT Audio, Equalizer, and Settings.
USB Operation
From the main menu, select the USB icon to enter USB mode. Use the touch
screen to control playback options such as List, Repeat, Random, Search, EQ,
Track Up, Play/Pause, and Track Down. Note that video playback is only enabled
when the vehicle is in the park and the parking brake is engaged.
SiriusXM Operation
From the main menu, select the SiriusXM icon to enter SiriusXM mode. Use
the touch screen to control options such as Band, Program Information, Search,
Preset Channel List, Additional Options, Preset Buttons, Direct, Channel Down,
Channel Up, Tune/Track Down, Play/Pause, and Tune/Track Up.
General Operation
To access the Settings menu, select Setup from the Main Menu screen. The
Settings menu includes categories such as General, Audio, Display, and Others.
Select the category and adjust any available options using the touch screen.
Audio Operation
Press the Settings icon on the main menu screen to adjust audio controls
such as Fader and Balance, Equalizer (8-Band Tone Control and 8 Presets EQ
Settings).
Wiring Diagram Inputs/Outputs
Note:
When replacing a fuse, make sure to use the correct type and amperage. Using
an incorrect fuse could cause damage. The unit uses (1) 15 amp ATC mini style
fuse located on the power connector.
Wiring Notes:
Subwoofer output
The Subwoofer preamp audio output (Blue jacket with Black RCA) is active in
all audio modes.
Rear camera input
A rearview camera (not included) can be used with the Camera input.
SiriusXM
For more information on how to install the SiriusXM Connect Vehicle tuner,
consult the installation guide included with the tuner(SiriusXM Connect tuner
and subscription sold separately).
Installation
Before You Start
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Consult a qualified technician for instructions.
- Avoid installing the unit where it would be subject to high temperatures, such as from direct sunlight, or where it would be subject to dust, dirt, or excessive vibration.

General Operation
From the Main Menu screen, select Setup to access the Settings menu and select from categories represented by the icons on the right of the screen: General, Audio, Display, and Others. Select the category, and adjust any of the available options using the touch screen.
Audio Operation
Press the Settings icon on the main menu screen to adjust Fader and Balance
controls, and Equalizer (8-Band Tone Control and 8 Presets EQ Settings).
CarPlay Operation
Select CarPlay on the Main Menu.
If the iPhone is connected via a USB port, press the CarPlay icon on the main
menu to mirror the iPhone’s apps onto the screen. If the iPhone USB cable is
inserted into the USB port then the CAR710X will automatically change to
CarPlay mode.

Android Auto Operation
Select Android Auto on the Main Menu.
If the Android Phone is connected via a USB port, press the Android Auto icon on the main menu to mirror the Android Auto Basic Image onto the screen. If the Android Phone USB cable is inserted into the USB port then the CAR710X will automatically change to Android Auto mode.

Bluetooth Operation
Before using Bluetooth
Before you can use a Bluetooth device to make hands-free calls or stream
audio. it must be authenticated. This is also referred to as “pairing” a
device.
Pairing a New Device
The unit broadcasts the pairing signal constantly when no devices are
currently connected. Complete the pairing sequence from your Bluetooth device.
Refer to the owner’s manual for your device for more details. The device’s
name is “CAR710X”. The unit can be in any mode of operation when pairing is
performed. On certain phones, pairing may need to be done more than once.
Connect
The head unit will automatically connect to the last connected device when the
connect feature is set to Auto connect On. If the connect feature is set to
Auto Connect Off, the head unit will not automatically connect to any device.
Bluetooth Phone
- From the main menu. touch the Bluetooth on the screen.
- Bluetooth icon will appear anytime a Bluetooth device is connected.
Dialing a Number
Press to display the keypad and dial a number.
Making and Ending a Call
Press to connect a call, and press to end a call.
Transferring Audio
Press to transfer audio between the head unit and mobile phone.
Streaming Audio
- Press to play or pause the music.
- Press to skip to the previous track.
- Press to advance to the next track.

This warranty covers all defects in material and workmanship in this product.
The following are not covered: software, installation/removal costs, damage
resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, product modification,
improper installation, incorrect line voltage, unauthorized repair or failure
to follow instructions supplied with the product, or damage occurring during
