Product Usage Instructions
- Installation Diagram for Non-Amplified Vehicles
- Instructions on how to connect the SWC cables, +12V constant, +12V ACC, ground, illumination, speaker wires, VSS, and chassis ground.
- 3.5MM SWC Cables Connection
- Use the proper 3.5mm to 4-pin cable for your radio. Connect the selected 3.5mm SWC cable to the 4-pin port on the module. Refer to the DIP SWITCH SETTINGS section for configuration.
- DIP Switch Settings
- Refer to the provided table for DIP switch settings based on the aftermarket radio brand. Make sure to check the aftermarket radio’s manual for any additional programming requirements.
- SWC Module Connection
- Connect the SWC wires as follows: RED to SWC Key 1, WHITE to SWC Key 2, and SHIELD to SWC Ground. Note specific instructions for radios with only SWC1 and SWC2.
- Vehicle Applications
- Compatible with Nissan vehicles such as the 2013-2017 Altima Base Radio and 2012-2019 Versa. Some SWC functions may not be retained for specific radio series listed in the manual.

DIP SWITCH SETTINGS
AFTERMARKET RADIO DIP SWITCH SETTINGS:
NOTE: For Atoto, Blaupunkt, Dual, Fahrenheit, Nakamichi, Power Acoustik, Soundstream, and most off-brand radios, check the aftermarket radio’s manual to see if the SWC buttons need to be programmed.
4-PIN SWC CABLE
- Use the proper 3.5MM to 4-Pin SWC cable for the aftermarket radio you are using.
- OPTION A is used for ALPINE, CLARION, JVC, and KENWOOD units (Blue/Yellow wire is attached) OPTION B is used for ATOTO, BLAUPUNKT, BOSS, DUAL, FARENHEIT, JENSEN, POWER ACOUSTIK, PIONEER, SONY, SOUNDSTREAM and Most Off-Brand Radios.
- NOTE: Cap or insulate the 3.5mm plug or Blue/Yellow wire if not being used.
For aftermarket radios that have wires for SWC connections, cut off the 3.5mm plug on the Crux SWC Cable (option B) and connect the SWC wires as follows:
Note that there are some radios that only have SWC1 and SWC2, in this case, “shield” does not need to be connected.

DIP switch settings for Pioneer receivers:
The location of the switch may vary on the Interface (Comer or Middle). Please note that interfaces with DIP at the end of the LOT# are installed with the switch.
- Set the DIP switch to the “3V3” position for support of the NEW generation Pioneer steering wheel button control.
- Set the DIP switch to the “5V” position for support of OLD generation Pioneer steering wheel button control.
