44-keys Infrared Remote Control

The controlable distance within 5m, can adjust brightness, change static colors and other effects.

Functions

1. Turn On/Off.
2. Pause/Run: Only for: AUTO, JUMP3, JUMP7, FADE3,FADE7, FLASH.
3. Adjust the brightness level of the16 static colors from bright to dim (10 levels).
4. Adjust the brightness level of the 16 static colors from dim to bright (10 levels).
5. 16 Static colors.
6. The strengthen and weakening key of Red, Green and Blue, works under DIY mode. Invalid by other mode.
7. Press DIY1, then press 6;(the arrow key of Red, Green and Blue)to adjust color preferences , then press any other keys to save automatically. DIY2-DIY6 are the same operation.
8. JUMP3: 3 colors jumping.

Instructions

1. Wipe the surface of the object clean, and keep the surface clean and dry.
2. Remove the film of the led strip lights.
3. Press the led strip lights on the object with your hand to make the led strip lights and the object closely close together.

APP Mode

This APP program requires that the minimum systems of your phones is Android 4.3 or iOS 9.0. No limit for mobile phone configuration. You can download APP by scanning QR code on iOS or Android systems. Use APPs with scanning function such as browser to scan the QR code.

Please open the APP on your phone, by which you can connect one or more sets of led strip lights through Bluetooth and able to set group and control multiple led strip lights.

Functions

1. In the Adjust, can adjust the brightness and 16 million kinds of colors,

2. In the Style, there are 22 style modes, that can make colors change automatically and would keep changing even the phone is disconnected with the led strip lights.

3. In the Music, the colors of led strip lights change automatically according with the music rhythm, which is absolutely beautiful.
   If the phone system is Android, the APP will automatically sync the songs that have been downloaded in your mobile phone.
   If the phone system is iOS, you need to connect your mobile phone to the computer and use iTunes to import the songs from the computer to your mobile phone. Then the APP will automatically sync the songs you have imported.
   Notes: If you have any questions about music mode, please refer to APP ‘Settings- Help – Sync Music Guide’ in the APP interface.

4. In the Tape, colors adjusting automatically based on the ambient sound, the Phone Mic or device Mic can be chosen.

5. In the Timing, the led strip lights have timer function. You can preset the time to turn on/off your led strip lights.Then it will automatically turn on or off on time.
   Notes: You need to pay attention to setting the timer mode. First open the Timing of the APP, and then follow the prompts, slide up to select the device you want to set, and then set your time according to your needs.

6. Long distance control without direction restriction and multiple controls are allowed.

7. LED strip lights have memory function. When the led strip lights are used again, they remember the last mode settings without having to repeat the settings.

8. Once been connected, your phone would connect to the led light strips automatically after you turn on your Bluetooth.

9. On the APP, in the Adjust, you can DIY your favorite colors. If you have not selected colors, you can also use the function of extracting colors from picture. First select the picture icon in the upper right corner, then after uploading the picture, extract your like colors from the picture to set the colors of the led strip lights.

10. In ‘Settings — Background; you can also change the background picture of the APR We provide 9 background pictures for your choice. Hope you like it.

11. If you have any questions about the APP, you can refer to the specific instructions in the ‘Settings- Help – User Guide’.

APP Notes

When two APPs want to be connected to a strip lights controller at the same time, there will be a situation where they cannot be connected. Please exit one APP, close the application, and enter the APP to connect.

HappyLighting APP

When your device can’t connect the lights automatically, follow the steps below:
Android «««««««««« Methods:
Methodl: Click, ‘My Device’ to refresh (on the top left corner), the device successfully connected will be displayed.
Method2: If the first step fails, you need to exit the APP and close its process in the background completely, then open again.
Method3: If it still fails, you need to exit the APP and close its process in the background completely, turn off the Bluetooth, then turn on the Bluetooth, and open the APP again.

Method: Exit the App, close its process in the background, and then open the APP again.

Setting Sensitivity of Controller

When you use Music or Tape functions, the change ofled strip lights cannot change with the rhythm of music, the problem you encountered may be that the sensitivity of the controller has been set low, so the sensitivity to sound is not sensitive. On the Tape, select the Device Mic, click ‘+’to increase its sensitivity. You also can set the sensitivity of the controller through remote control. The setting method is as follows:

1. Point the remote control at the receiver of the controller.
2. Use the remote control to switch to Music mode.
3. Use the button on the remote control, and press the ‘QUICK’ button to increase its sensitivity.

Common Troubleshooting

The controller was connected the power, but not light up:

1. Check the input power supply: please use the power adapter that we equipped or other adapters with the same specification as ours. The input voltage must meet the voltage requirement of the led strip lights.When the input voltage is lower than requirement, the led strip lights will not be turn on, while higher voltage may damage the circuit.The output power of the adapter (KW value) must equal to, or higher than the power of the led strip lights.
2. Check whether the connector is connected correctly with the strip lights. Make sure each interface is connected correctly.
3. Check whether the remote control is open.

If the led strip lights are able to light up, but the remote control does not work or can’t control the led strip lights.

1. Check whether the insulation sheet is removed from the remote control.
2. Make sure the battery on the remote control is installed correctly.
3. Ensure that the remote is working within 5 meters and aligned to the infrared receiver of the controller.
4. Try to replace the battery.

Attentions

1. The led strip lights must be connected correctly based on installation guide.
2. Led strip lights must be used under 24V.
3. Remote control must be aligned to the infrared receiver of the controller.
4. The light strips are not water proof, only suitable for indoor uses.
5. Make sure the surface you are going to paste strip is clean and dry.
