INSTALLATION

Step 1
Install the plates ②x4 to the bottom of the pillars with screws ①x16 using an electric drill or an allen key. -
Step 2
Place the pillars D1 and D2 down in a lying position and insert the beams B1 and B2.
Do not tighten the screws until the gutter (step 7) is installed. -
Step 3
- Fasten the brackets ⑨ 235cm above the ground to the lower edge of the brackets.
- For the 3×3 model you need to space the brackets 112 cm from each other, for the 3×4 and 4×4 model it has to be 125,5 cm.
- Fasten brackets ⑨ with bolt ➁.
- Hang the wall beam A2 onto the bracket, and insert ⑪ into the wall beam as shown in the video. Fasten with screws fitting to ⑪.

Step 4
Attach end covers ⑫ on both sides.
Connect B1→ A2 and B2 →A2 with corner bracket ⑩. Do not tighten the screws until the gutters are installed (Step 7)

The gutters are manufactured with tight tolerances, securing a snug fit to the
corners. In some cases natural variances in the material or terrain can make
the final fitment of the gutters difficult. In these cases it can be helpful
to trim 1-10 millimetres off the corner of the corner to fit the gutter
properly. This can be done with a fine-toothed hacksaw or an electric angle
grinder.
If your gutters fit your pergola without cutting please proceed with the
mounting process without minding this page.

Step 5
- Insert beam A1.
- Do not tighten the screws ① until the gutters are installed (step 7).

Version A: When Mounting the PERGOLUX Pergola with a PERGOLUX Heater:
Insert 2x bracket ⑯ per heater into the gutter (E1)/(E2)/(F1)/(F2) -
Version B: When Mounting the PERGOLUX Pergola without a PERGOLUX Heater:
Cover the bottom slots with included plastic strip. -
Hang the gutters onto the beams as seen below. Screw them together with the beams by using the ⑰ screws

Step 7
Cut tape ⑮ into 4 equally sized pieces and glue them in the joints in the corners of all gutters to seal any gaps. -
Step 8
- Insert the steering slats Ⓗx1 on the second row.
- Proceed by installing the other slats in order.

Step 9
- Connect the slats and the steering rail Ⓙ with ⑤ ⑥ ⑦ as seen below.
- Continue by tightening the screws with an allen key.

Step 10
- Install the wind protection plates ⑬ and ⑭ onto the beams with self-tapping screws, as seen below:

Step 11
- You can now attach the pergola to the ground. Suitable fasteners can be purchased from a hardware store near you.
- Make sure not to hit any membranes etc. when screwing.
