Battery Installation
Before first use, unscrew the tail cap to remove the insulating paper. When
replacing the battery, ensure the positive end faces the flashlight head for
proper installation.
Battery Level Indicator
Upon turning on the SC28, the indicator will show the power status for 5
seconds: Green = good battery power (50% – 100%) Red = low battery power (25%
– 50%) Flashing Red = critical power (0% – 25%), indicating the need for
immediate replacement or recharge.

why the flashlight only works while plugged in?
Please unscrew the tail cap and remove the insolating paper, screw the tail cap back on and try again.
Can I use the flashlight while recharging?
Please keep the flashlight on Off while recharging
Does it accept C-C charging cable?
Yes, but C C charging cable is not included. Please know that some charging cables have fat type C which won't fit the SC28 charging port.
It gets hot quickly, is it normal？
Yes, powerful flashlights heat up easily which is normal.
What should I do if the flashlight gets too hot?
The SC28 automatically reduces brightness when the temperature reaches 55 degrees to prevent overheating. Allow it to cool down before further use.
How can I tell if the battery voltage is low?
The red indicator will flash when the battery voltage is low, signalling poor remaining battery power. The flashlight will turn off automatically if the voltage drops below 2.8V.
How should I store the SC28 to prevent accidental activation?
Unscrew the light body half a turn during transport and store it in a way that minimizes accidental activation to avoid draining the battery.

- Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) technology: In High or Turbo mode, flashlight heats up easily. To prevent over-heating, SC28 drops to lower brightness level automatically when the temperature reaches 55 degrees.
- Low Voltage Protection: Red indicator flashes when the battery voltage is low, indicating that the remaining battery power is poor. The flashlight turns off automatically to protect the battery from being discharged when the battery voltage is lower than 2.8V.
Safety Instructions
- SC28 is a powerful flashlight. Never stare into beam or point it directly at a person, or moving vehicles. Doing so could cause retinal damage. Please do not allow children to play with it. Strobe mode may cause seizure in persons with photosensitive epilepsy.
- Operating SC28 for a long time in high-powered modes will quickly heat up the flashlight. This is normal.
- Pay close attention to the proper installation of the battery. Always check that the positive end of the battery faces the flashlight’s head.
- Please unscrew the light body half a turn to avoid unwanted activation during transport. It also prevents the battery from draining while the flashlight is in standby.
- Never leave your SC28 with its face against any surface, including skin, while in operation. Transport or store the SC28 in a way that minimizes the chance it can accidentally be turned on. The resultant heat build-up can cause a fire, burns or damage the flashlight.

Battery Installation
Before first use, please unscrew the tail cap and remove the insulating paper.
If the battery needs to be replaced, make sure that the positive end of the
new battery faces the flashlight head when you put it in.
Battery Level Indicator
After turning on the SC28, the indicator will display the power status for
5 seconds.
- Green = remaining battery power is good (50% – 100%).
- Red = remaining battery power is poor (25% – 50%).
- Flashing Red = critical power (0%-25%), please replace or recharge battery
as soon as possible.
After turning SC28 on, the red indicator flashes to prompt when the remaining
battery power is less than 25%.

The flashlight automatically shuts down when running out of battery, please
recharge it as soon as possible or press the tail switch to make it in the off
state
Note: Please turn off the flashlight when charging.
General Operation
SC28 features a tactical switch with momentary operation (light press or tap) and constant on operation (press until click).
CHANGE BRIGHTNESS LEVEL:
- Option 1: From Off, tap or half-press the tail switch to choose brightness.
- Option 2: From On, fast double-click the tail switch to change brightness.
ACCESSING DIFFERENT PROGRAMS:
There are 3 programs for different using scenarios.
- Program 1: Moonlight (1 Lm)→Low (100 Lm)→Medium (350 Lm)→High (1200 Lm)→Turbo (2800 Lm)
- Program 2: Turbo (2800 Lm)→Strobe (2800 Lm)→Medium (350 Lm)
- Program 3: Moonlight (1 Lm)→Low (100 Lm)→Medium (350 Lm)
To toggle through these 3 programs, turn on and continue holding the switch for 5 seconds. When the light flashes, then quickly double-click to advance to the next program. Additional double-clicks will continue advancing. When finished, the light flashes twice to indicate success. After the program being selected, wait for about 3 seconds before changing brightness levels.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance
- Disassembling the sealed head can damage the flashlight and voids the warranty.
- Sofirn, Ltd. recommends using high-quality brand batteries. Damage by battery leakage voids the warranty.
- Remove the battery if the flashlight will not be used for an extended period of time.
- To prevent self-discharge or accidental activation during storage or transportation, unscrew the light body by half a turn or remove the battery.
- Every 6 months threads should be wiped with a clean cloth followed by a thin layer of silicone grease.
- To maintain a proper level of waterproofness, replace worn-out o-rings with an approved spare.
