Solution 1. If the problem occurs on only one channel, it is likely a known issue that will soon be resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience. This problem can also be related to Secondary Audio Programming (SAP). If you’re listening to SAP, try switching back to the primary language.

Step 1 – Press INFO on your remote control to bring up the Info bar on the top of your TV screen.

Step 2 – Use the RIGHT ARROW button to highlight  Audio/Video.

Step 3 – Select  English DD.

Solution 2. If the problem occurs on more than one channel, Press the VOLUME UP button on your remote control. If the volume doesn’t increase when you press the button, program your remote to control your TV, then try again.

Solution 3. If you are still having issues, there might be a problem with your audio/video cables.

Step 1 – Make sure the device connected between your TV and receiver is on.

Step 2 – On your remote control, press the  TV Input  button to cycle through TV inputs (Component, HDMI, etc). If nothing happens when you press the button, program your remote to control your TV Input, then try again.

Step 3- If the problem persists, try connecting your receiver directly to your TV. Learn how.

Step 4 – If the sound comes back, the problem is with the device connected between your TV and receiver. Refer to the device manual for instructions on how to change audio inputs and settings.

You might be using an incompatible cable to connect your receiver to your TV or the cable is plugged in incorrectly. Check your cable.
