How do I download a program on my mobile device?

To download programs on your mobile device your device must be connected to the same home network that your DVR is connected to.

Open the DIRECTV App

Tap “Watch on iPhone”

Tap “Watch Your DVR” on homepage.

Tap on “On DVR” which will bring up your DVR playlist

Select a program from the list, then select “Download”.The selected program will then be prepared on your HD DVR to view on your mobile device. If “Auto Prepare” is on, this step will be skipped.

A status bar will indicate download progress.

The status bar will change to a play button when the program is ready to view on your device.
