Depending on the type of property you own, subscriber units could be guest rooms, televisions or cable drops connected to the DIRECTV System network. The price for the DIRECTV service at your hotel, dorm or hospital is calculated by a total number of subscriber units.
Here’s how the number of subscriber units is calculated:
Hotels
Subscriber units for hotels, motels, resorts and inns are calculated by a
total number of guest rooms.
Health Care Businesses
Subscriber units for hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living centers, long-
term care facilities, medical clinics and dialysis clinics are calculated by a
total number of televisions on premises in patient rooms.
Dorms
Subscriber units for college, university, convent or other dormitory housing
setting are calculated by a total number of cable drops connected to DIRECTV
System network.
Office Buildings
Subscriber units for office buildings or private office locations are
calculated by a total number of cable drops connected to DIRECTV System
network.
Recreation Businesses
Subscriber units for marinas, mobile home parks, campgrounds and RV parks are
calculated by a total number of cable drops connected to DIRECTV System
network.
Prisons
Subscriber units for prisons and correctional facilities are calculated by a
total number of cable drops connected to DIRECTV System network.
