SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Read these instructions carefully before assembly and use. Save them for future reference.
  • The product is only intended for household use. The product is only intended for indoor use.
  • Parts of the product, especially the external surface such as the glass, get hot when in use – risk of burn injury.
  • The product gets hot when in use. Never cover the product – fire risk.
  • Never put flammable objects on top of the product.
  • The product must only be used with bioethanol as fuel.
  • The product is not intended for continuous use.
  • This product is only intended to be used as a decorative heater in accordance with these instructions.
  • Keep other people, especially children, and pets at least 1 meter away from the product, otherwise there is a risk of fire and/or personal injury.
  • Do not place the product closer than 1 meter to any flammable material – fire risk.
  • Store out of the reach of children.
  • Do not block the ventilation openings on the product.
  • Never leave the product unattended when it is lit.

SETTING UP

WARNING
Only put the product on a stable surface of non-flammable material that can support the weight of the product.

USE

WARNING

  • Only use in well ventilated rooms.
  • Do not expose the product to draught.
  • Do not move the product when it is lit or hot.
  • Never modify the product in any way. Only use spare parts recommended by the manufacturer.
  • If 2 products are used the output must not be more than 4.5 kW/h and the room must have extra ventilation.
  • Never leave the product unattended when it is lit.

SAFE REFILLING OF FUEL

WARNING

  • Allow the product to cool for at least 10 minutes before refilling with fuel.
  • Never fill fuel when the product is lit.
  • Only use bioethanol with an alcohol content of more than 95%.
  • Use a funnel or dispensing bottle to fill fuel.
  • Do not fill over the MAX mark.
  • Check at regular intervals, ideally every time filling fuel, that no spilt fuel has accumulated in the container. Empty any accumulated fuel.
  • Wipe off any spilled fuel immediately. Do not light the product before removing any spilt fuel. Use a suitable absorbent cloth.
  • Light the product with a long lighter or match. Hold the lighter/match at arms length when lighting.

LIGHTING

WARNING

  • Do not light the product when it is hot, or if it is damaged.
  • Parts of the product, especially the external surface such as the glass, get hot when in use – risk of burn injury.
  • Avoid draughts.

After filling fuel, light the product with a suitable lighter/match. Pay attention to the following.

  • Keep at a safe distance when the product is lit.
  • Check that the flame can be seen during the lighting process.

SAFE EXTINGUISHING

WARNING

  • The product can be very hot even after it has been put out.
  • Always keep the extinguisher near the product.
  • Suitable fire extinguishing equipment should always be available. Extinguish with suitable extinguisher (class B), for example:
    • Foam extinguisher type AFFF.
    • Foam extinguisher AR-AFF.
    • CO2 extinguisher.
  • Never attempt to extinguish with water.
  1. Put the extinguisher on the product.
  2. Leave it in place for about 10 seconds.
  3. Remove the extinguisher and check that the flame is out. Repeat steps 1 and 2 if in doubt.

CLEANING

  • Clean the product at regular intervals with a cloth moistened with water and pH neutral detergent.
  • Do not use chemicals or abrasive products.

STORAGE

STORING THE PRODUCT

Follow the instructions below if the product is not going to be used for some time.

  1. Check that the product has cooled completely.
  2. Clean the product.
  3. Allow the product to dry.
  4. Store the product indoors.

STORAGE OF FUEL

WARNING

  • Fuel should be stored in accordance with national and/or regional limitations for indoor storage and in accordance with national legislation and directives.
  • Fuel must always be stored at least 2 meters from the product when it is lit or hot.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem **Action**
The product will not light. Check that you are using the right fuel.

Check that there is enough fuel in the burner.
