SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read all instructions carefully before use and save them for future reference.

  • If the product is going to be used in cold rooms, soak the product in warm water for 2 to 3 minutes before use.
  • Before using for the first time, wash the product with warm water. Do not use strong or corrosive detergents.
  • Always check before use that the product is positioned stably.
  • Never use the product on a raised surface not intended for the product.
  • Do not use the product outdoors. Do not use or place the product on or near stairs, or on an uneven surface, where it can tip over and cause personal injury. Place the product on a level, stable surface.
  • Do not use or place the product near a naked flame, or other sources of heat- if the product tips over there is a risk of fire and/or burn injuries.
  • Do not start filling w ith hot water only-the water temperature must not exceed 50° C. Ensure the water is a suitable temperature. Fill to the level required, but no more than 2/3 of the product’s height.
  • The product will have a faint plastic smell the first time it is used. This is perfectly normal and the smell will fade over time. The product is made of non-toxic materials and is completely safe to use.
  • A suitable temperature for the water is 38 to 42° C. Bath time should be 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Drain out the water after using the product. Do not leave water in the product for too long as this may cause it to become deformed.
  • Infants and small children are at risk of drowning in the bath.
  • Do not allow children to play near the product when there is water in it.
  • Never leave children unsupervised near the product when there is water in it- risk of drowning, personal injury and/or material damage.
  • To avoid scalding, place the product so that the child cannot reach the source of the water.
  • Always check the temperature of the water before putting the child in the bath.
  • Do not use the product if any parts are damaged or missing.
  • Only use parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Never use the product for any other purpose than a bath.

WARNING!

  • There have been cases of children drowning in the bath.
  • Children can drown in as little as 2 cm of water in a very short time.
  • Always supervise children in the bath.
  • Never leave the child unsupervised in the bath, not even for a short while. Take the child with you if you have to leave the room.
  • Keep plastic bags out of the reach of children – risk of suffocation.
  • Do not fill with hot water

straight from the tap during use – risk of scalding.

ELECTRIC PUMP

  • The pump operates at high volume and low pressure. It is designed for inflation and deflation of rubber boats, inflatable mattresses, etc. The product is not intended for continuous use. Do not use the product for more than 10 minutes at a time. Doing so may cause the product to overheat and become damaged.
  • This product can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge, if they a re supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the product. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the product without supervision.
  • The product is only intended for household use indoors. Do not use the product outdoors.
  • The power cord cannot be replaced. If the power cord or plug becomes damaged, the product must be disposed of or be replaced by an authorised service centre, or other qualified personnel, to ensure safe use.
  • Pull out the plug and allow the product to cool before cleaning.
  • Wipe the product clean with a damp cloth and then dry it with a dry cloth. Never immerse the product in water or any other liquid.
  • Never block the infiation or defiation ports.
  • Use a suitable adapter to quickly infiate the product and thus keep motor running time to a minimum.
  • Always follow the instructions when infiating the product. Never exceed the recommended infiation pressure as this could cause the product to explode which can result in personal injury.
  • Never leave the product unattended during use.
  • Do not expose the product to rain or moisture.
  • Make sure that no sand, small stones or similar get sucked into the infiation or defiation ports during use.
  • Never direct the infiation or defiation ports towards the face and eyes during use and avoid looking into them.
  • Never attempt to place fingers or other body parts over or inside the infiation or defiation ports.

Do not expose the power cord or plug to water or other liquids – risk of electric shock.

USE

INFLATING

  1. Unfold the bath. FIG. 2
  2. Tighten the air valve cap to prevent air escaping FIG. 3EKVIP-019405-Inflatable-Bathtub-FIG-2
  3. Connect the pump plug to a suitable wall socket.
  4. Use the pump’s medium-size nozzle FIG. 4
  5. Place the nozle in the valve on the inflatable bath and press the On/off switch to start the pump (position-). When the bath is inflated, press the On/off switch (position 0) to turn the pump off. FIG. 5EKVIP-019405-Inflatable-Bathtub-FIG-3
  6. Close the air valve. FIG. 6

NOTE:
Check that the valve on the inflatable bath is not blocked, to prevent the product from Overheating and becoming damaged. Never use the deflation port while inflating the product.
FILLING WITH WATER
When frlling the bath, make sure it does not come into contact with water that is 50°C or hotter as this may cause it to become deformed. Ihe bath will not be damaged if the water temperature is low enough for a person to bathe in.EKVIP-019405-Inflatable-Bathtub-FIG-5
EMPTYING

  1. Let the air out of the bath.

  3. Fold one side of the bath 1/3 inward from the edge. TG.

NOTE:
The side outlet is placed approx. 5 cm from the bottom of the bath for reasons of manufacturing technology. The remaining water can be drained out through the bottom outlet.

MAINTENANCE

NOTE:
Repair kit not included.

Small holes

  1. Empty all water and air out of thee inflatable bath.
  2. Dry the damaged area.
  3. Cut a patch to a size that will cover the hole. Ensure that the patch has a margin of at least 1.5 cm around the hole.
  4. Apply glue to both the damaged area and the patch
  5. Press the patch over the hole and hold it firmly in place for 30 seconds.
  6. Allow at least 4 hours for the glue to dry before using the bath again.

Split edges

  1. Cut a clear patch to a suitable size and apply glue to both the damaged area and the patch.
  2. Press the patch over the split area and hold it hrmily in place tor 30 seconds.
  3. Allow at least 4 hours for the glue to dry before using the product again .
