Assembly

Carefully unpack the carton, make sure all parts are present before assembly.

  1. Step 1
    Assembly Inductions
    Connect the solar panel to the spike “B”. To avoid damaging the solar panel, install the ground spike into soft ground and then slide the solar panel onto the spike.

  2. Step 2
    Assembly Inductions
    Install the solar panel in direct sunlight and where it will be exposed for the longest time. Don’t install the solar panel where shadows from buildings or trees etc. will fall as this will reduce charging performance. Don’t install the solar panel where artificial or street lighting will fall on the panel.

  3. Step 3
    Assembly Inductions
    Taking step 2 into consideration for best placement location, install the 4 LED sticks and solar panel into soft ground. Consider also a location that will not cause a trip hazard or obstruction to people or pets. You will find the spikes inside the bottom part of the stick. Please remove these and reinsert in reverse with the pointed end on the outside (take care not to trap the cables during this assembly step – refer to diagram 1).

  4. Step 4
    Assembly Inductions
    Before using the light set for the first time, the batteries will need to be fully charged. Allow 2 full days of charging before use. Set the power switch to “ON” and allow a full days charge in daylight. Switch “OFF” at dusk. Repeat the process the following morning. For operation, switch the now charged light set to “ON” for continuous operation. The light set will now automatically switch on at dusk and recharge during the day

Care instructions

We recommend cleaning with a soft dry cloth. Do not use abrasive materials as these will damage the finish.
