Thank you for purchasing this Baldwin floor light. Please read the instructions carefully before use to ensure the safe and satisfactory operation of this product.
Warnings!
This is a Class 1I product and must NOT be earthed. Please read these instructions carefully before commencing any work. Your standard lamp has been packaged as separate parts to prevent damage during transit. When maneuvering or assembling this product, it must be lifted from the bottom. If you are in any doubt, please consult a qualified electrician. For your safety, always switch off the supply before cleaning or adjusting.

Assembly
Refer to assembly drawing opposite. Carefully unpack the carton, making sure all the parts are present before assembly.
Step 1
Refer to Fig. 1: Join the upper ( A ) and middle ( B ) sections of
the stem into the lower section ( C ).
Step 2
Refer to Fig 2: Slot the stem ( D ) into the base ( E ) and gently
pull through any excess cable. Secure the stem into the base using the nuts
and spanner ( F ).
Step 3
Refer to Fig 3: Fit the shade ( G ) by slotting over the lamp holder and
securing with the shade ring ( H ). Fit the bulb ( I ) per the detail
overleaf.
Step 4
Plug the lamp in and switch on using the footswitch. The shade position can be
adjusted by loosening the thumbscrew (Fig. 3 – J) on the joint of the shade
and arm.
PLEASE NOTE: The lamp head will become hot during use. Always switch
off and allow it to cool before adjusting the lamp head. Ensure the stem is
held while adjusting the lamp head.
Care instructions
We recommend cleaning with a soft dry cloth. Do not use abrasive materials as these will damage the finish.
Recommended bulb (not included)
1 x 3-6 Watt ES energy-efficient LED GLS
or
1 x 28 Watt ES eco halogen GLS
When changing a bulb, always switch off at the mains and allow the bulb to cool before handling. Dispose of used bulbs carefully. Do not exceed the rated power stated or use a different shape bulb from that indicated on the fitting.
