WARNING
For your child’s safety. Please read these instructions and keep them for
future reference.
To prevent the risk of strangulation: Do not place in crib or child’s
sleeping environment. Do not attach strings straps to the toy.
- Toy must only be used under adult supervision.
- Remove and discard all packaging and packaging fasteners before giving this toy to a child.
- Do not use the product if any components are broken or missing.
- Before each use, ensure that the product and all its components are not damaged. If damaged or broken, immediately discard the toy.
- Do not use accessories or replacement parts other than those approved by Chicco.
Cleaning
- To prevent damage to the electronics, do not submerge the toy in water. Only use a soft damp cloth to clean the toy.
- Protect the toy against heat, dust, sand, and water.
Removing and Inserting Batteries
The toy uses 3 AA 1.5-volt batteries. Batteries must only be installed by an adult. Always keep batteries and tools out of reach of children.
- To replace the batteries, loosen the screw holding the battery cover with a Phillips screwdriver and remove the battery cover. Insert the new batteries; checking to make sure the polarity (+/-) on the batteries matches the markings on the product. Replace the battery cover and secure it with the screw.
- Always remove exhausted batteries from the product to avoid damage by possible battery leakage.
- Always remove batteries when the product is not going to be used for long periods of time.
- It is recommended to use alkaline batteries of the same type in this product.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (ni-cad) batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Always dispose of batteries properly.
- Do not short circuit battery terminals.
The product has 2 light mode functions (A) LAMP, (B) PROJECTOR, and 1 musical
mode function (C) MUSICAL NOTE BUTTON.
Turning the Toy ON/OFF:
There are 2 different user modes to choose from: (A) LIGHT, or (B) PROJECTOR.
Use the switch to select a light effect mode which will start automatically.
(A) LIGHT MODE – Activates the colored lights in the luminous globe.
(B) PROJECTOR MODE – Starts the projection of colored stars.
Both light effects will continue for 10 minutes, after which the product will
switch to standby mode. To interrupt/start the light effects, press the moon
button on the front of the product. The light projection effect is best
visible when the room is completely dark. Turn the switch on the back of the
device to “OFF” to turn the appliance off completely.
How to play music :
Switch the product ON and select (A) LIGHT mode or (B) PROJECTOR mode; now
press the (C)MUSICAL NOTE BUTTON, to start the music compilation of 2
classical tunes (Bach, Rossini), 2 New Age tunes and 2 night-time nature
sounds.
When operating in (A) LIGHT mode, the music will play for around 6 minutes and
then switch to standby mode.
When operating in (B) PROJECTOR mode, the music will play for around 12
minutes before switching to standby mode.

limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses,
and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not
occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful
interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by
turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct
the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or experienced radio/TV technician for help.
