Disconnect the hose
-
Unlatch the quick release hose door & lift out the tank
-
Verify the motor duct gasket is in place (if not in place, check underside of tank)
- If missing, it should be replaced
-
Turn machine on & check for suction at motor duct
-
If no suction at motor duct, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
-
Fill solution tank with water
-
Fit lid securely
-
Check the pre-motor filter
-
If dirty, it can be rinsed in warm water
-
Allow to completely dry (24 – 48 hours) before reinserting
-
-
The float in the dirty tank should be near the bottom of the tank
-
Float in down position suction should be fine
-
Float should be in the up position when tank is full
-
-
Remove all wands from grip trigger handle
- check for suction at the grip trigger opening
-
Inspect tool
- Remove debris
-
Hard Floor Tool Only:
- Make sure pad is positioned correctly (not covering suction path)
-
TurboBrush Tool Only:
-
Remove from machine
-
Squeeze tabs on quick-release access plate to remove
-
Remove debris if found
-
-
- Return access plate
-
Reinstall wand pieces
-
Press firmly together to secure
-
Turn on & check end of wand for suction
-
If no suction
-
Remove wand pieces
-
Push broom stick through each piece to clear
-
-
If machine has suction, but tool does not, replace tool
If all steps have been followed and machine still has no suction, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
