SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  1. BEFORE PLUGGING IN, CHECK THAT THE VOLTAGE INDICATED ON THE LABEL MATCHES THE VOLTAGE IN YOUR HOME.
  2. IF THE CORD IS DAMAGED, IT MUST BE REPLACED BY THE MANUFACTURER, MECHANIC OR EQUALLY QUALIFIED PERSON TO AVOID DANGER.
  3. IF THE HAIR DRYER IS USED IN A BATHROOM, UNPLUG IT AFTER USE. THE PROXIMITY OF WATER POSES A HAZARD EVEN IF THE HAIR DRYER IS TURNED OFF.

  7. THIS APPLIANCE MAY BE USED BY CHILDREN 8 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER. PERSONS WITH REDUCED PHYSICAL, SENSORY OR MENTAL CAPABILITIES AND LACK OF EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE MAY ALSO USE THE APPLIANCE.   14. THE AIR INLET AND OUTLET OPENINGS SHOULD NEVER BE BLOCKED TO PREVENT THEM FROM BECOMING TOO HOT.
  15. IF THE AIRFLOW IS ACCIDENTALLY BLOCKED DURING USE, THE BUILT-IN THERMAL SAFETY DEVICE WILL AUTOMATICALLY TURN THE UNIT OFF. THE HAIR DRYER WILL AUTOMATICALLY TURN ON AGAIN AFTER IT COOLS DOWN FOR A FEW MINUTES.
  16. KEEP YOUR HAIR AWAY FROM THE INLET OPENING TO PREVENT IT FROM BEING DRAWN IN.
  17. STORE THE UNIT IN A COOL, DRY PLACE. DO NOT USE WHEN YOUR HANDS ARE WET.

PRODUCT CLEANING

  1. THE APPLIANCE CAN BE CLEANED WITH A DRY CLOTH.
  2. THE ATTACHMENTS CAN BE CLEANED WITH A MOIST CLOTH OR RINSED UNDER A RUNNING TAP. REMOVE THE ATTACHMENTS FROM THE APPLIANCE BEFORE CLEANING. MAKE SURE THE ATTACHMENTS ARE DRY BEFORE USING OR STORING THEM.
  3. NEVER RINSE THE APPLIANCE WITH WATER

WARANTY INFORMATION

THE MANUFACTURER PROVIDES WARRANTY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LEGISLATION
OF THE CUSTOMER’S OWN COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE, WITH 1 YEAR, STARTING FROM THE DATE ON WHICH THE APPLIANCE IS SOLD. THE WARRANTY ONLY COVERS DEFECTS IN MATERIAL OR WORKMANSHIP. THE REPAIRS UNDER WARRANTY MAY ONLY BE CARRIED OUT BY AN AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTRE. WHEN MAKING A CLAIM UNDER THE WARRANTY, THE ORIGINAL BILL OF PURCHASE (WITH PURCHASE DATE) MUST BE SUBMITTED. THE WARRANTY WILL NOT APPLY IN CASES OF: – NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR – INCORRECT USE, E.G. CONNECTION TO AN UNSUITABLE MAINS SUPPLY OR NON-COMPLIANCE WITH THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS – PARTIALLY OR COMPLETELY DISMANTLED APPLIANCE

STORAGE SAFETY

WHEN NOT IN USE “UNPLUG IT.” ALLOW THE APPLIANCE TO COOL AND STORE IT IN A DRY LOCATION. NEVER WRAP THE CORD AROUND THE APPLIANCE SINCE THIS WILL CAUSE THE CORD TO WEAR PREMATURELY AND BREAK. IF THE SUPPLY CORD OF THIS APPLIANCE BECOMES DAMAGED THE APPLIANCE MUST BE REPLACED BY RETURNING TO THE RETAILER FROM WHICH THE PRODUCT WAS PURCHASED OR A SIMILARLY QUALIFIED PERSON IN ORDER TO AVOID A HAZARD.
