Before using SideStream for the first time, read the instructions for use booklet.
How to use your SideStream nebulizer
- Place compressor on a solid surface.
- Connect tubing to the compressor and medicine cup.
- Unscrew lid.
- Fill medicine cup.
- Replace lid. Connect mouthpiece.
- Do not tip SideStream.
- Plug in compressor.
- Turn switch on.
- Sit upright, relax, and slowly breathe in and out.
If you need to use a SideStream adult or pediatric mask…
- Replace mouthpiece with mask adaptor and mask.
- Place mask over nose and mouth.
- Place strap over head and adjust.
Cleaning instructions
After every use (for both SideStream reusable and disposable)…
- Disconnect handset from tubing.
- Disassemble and wash all parts in warm, soapy water (except the tubing).
- Rinse in clean water and air dry.
Once each week (for SideStream reusable only)…
- Place parts (except tubing) in water and 2–3 drops of dishwashing liquid.
- Boil 10 minutes.
- Rinse in clean water for 2 minutes and air dry.
