Resistor Wiring

Relay Status

  Normal Alarm Fault Tamper
Alarm Relay Close Open Close Close

  • Method 1 : Use the jumper to select EOL (End of Line) resistance on
    FAULT/TAMPER/ALARM pins.

  • Method 2 : Add the resistor to FAULT/TAMPER/ALARM wiring ports.
    Note: If EOL wiring is not used, leave the jumpers OFF. Do not force the jumper if it is not matched the pin. Method 1 & 2 should not be used on the

ALARM/TAMPER at the same time.

  • Alarm Resistance: 1K, 2K2, 4K7, 5K6, 6K8
  • Tamper Resistance: 1K, 2K2, 4K7, 5K6
  • Fault Resistance : 1K, 2K2, 5K6

Connection Type

Note : The resistor must be connected in series with one end of the detector.

CAUTION

  1. Install the equipment according to the instructions in this manual.
  2. This equipment is not suitable for usein locations where children are likely to be present.
  3. This equipment is suitable foruse in gang box or other encloslure protected device only.
  4. To prevent injury, this equipment must be securely attached to the floor/wall in accordance with the installation instructions.
  5. No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the equipment.
  6. The equipment has been designed, when required, modified for connection to an IT power distribution system.
  7. A readily accessible disconnect device shall be incorporated external to the equipment.
  8. The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.
  9. Burned fingers when handling the device. Wait one-half hour after switching off before handling the parts.
  10. Useonly power supplies at the standard of100 VAC to 240 VAC, 50/60 HZ.
  11. The equipment shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the equipment.

Ensure correct wiring of the terminals for connection to an AC mains supply. indicates hazardous live and the external wiring connected to the terminals requires installation by an instructed person
