Pre-Installation

• We recommend that you use a magnetic screwdriver to easily screw in the screws.
• Do not install the tiny screw to lock the Horizontal Angle Mount before affixing it onto the wall.

Installation

1. Take down the Nest Doorbell if you have previously installed it on your wall.

2. Pull apart the Horizontal Angle Mount.

3. Attach the mount to the wall using the long screws and wall anchors provided for mounting. The drill bit size is 1/8”. Use the silicone rings if you have an uneven surface before mounting. Place the silicone rings underneath the mount when mounting.
   If your doorbell is hardwired: Make sure that the doorbell wires come out through the opening at the centre of the mount.
   Note: You can also install the Horizontal
   Angle Mount in a different orientation. All the installation steps are the same, however, ensure that the screw holes are aligned with the parts of the doorbell.

4. Reattach the other part of the Horizontal Angle Mount. Make sure that you hear a click sound when you reattach the angle mount.

5. Install the doorbell backplate onto the Horizontal Angle Mount with the short screws.

6. Attach the doorbell onto the Horizontal Angle Mount.
   If your doorbell is hardwired: Connect the wires to the doorbell as shown.

7. Choose your desired angle and tighten the tiny screws on the top and bottom of the mount.

Installation with the Existing Nest Doorbell’s Wedge.
To install the Horizontal Angle Mount onto your existing doorbell’s wedge, you can follow all the steps 2 – 7 as above.

The only changes needed are:

• Ignore Step 1.
• For Step 3, instead of mounting the Horizontal Angle Mount to the wall, you will need to mount it and attach it to the doorbell’s wedge.
