Before using this device for the first time, we would like to ask you to read our operating instructions thoroughly. Please keep our opera- ting instructions in a safe place. The Hoverboard may in this descrip- tion differ from your device by shape and color. However, this does not affect the functions described.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Thank you for choosing and buying our Hoverboard Z13. It is important to us
that our customers are safe in driving with our Hoverboard. Only then can you
enjoy the driving pleasure free of worries. You need to know exactly how your
Hoverboard works. Hence practicing is important. This is the only way will to
acquire safe driving skills, and to continually develop your sense of
driving.If you are using our hoverboard for the first time, please read these
operating instructions carefully: always keep this manual within easy reach if
any questions arise. If you are lending your hoverboard to somebody else,
please provide the respective individuum with this manual please note: these
operating instructions must be strictly adhered to for the correct operation
of your board and your own safety. Failure to do so could result in serious
injury, and your device may be
damaged.

- Do NOT insert the power cord plug if the charge port, power cord or AC power outlet Is wet.
- When the scooter is plugged in and charging, the indicator light is always showing Red.
- When the scooter was fully charged, it will tum to Green
OPERATING THE DEVICE
Powering On the Scooter
Power on your scooter by pressing the Power button. The Power button is
located on the back side of the scooter. The indicator lights will illuminate
to indicate the power is ON.
Resetting the Scooter
- Put the scooter on a level surface where the wheels do not make contact with the ground.
- Press the Power Button for 3-5 seconds until caution light flashes.
- Turn OFF the scooter and turn ON again.
When the machine is riding normally, the indicator on the right lights up green. When the machine fails, the indicator on the left lights up red. When the machine is charging, the indicator on the right lights up yellow. Once the machine is fully charged, the indicator light on the charger will turn from red to green
BLUETOOTH MUSIC
To use the music feature, you must connect the device separately using the
Bluetooth function on your mobile device. Select the “HOVERBOARD” device in
the Bluetooth
menu. A confirmation of the connection from the hoverboard will sound.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Here you will find important information about the safety and use of our Hoverboard. This means that driving will always be great fun, without neglecting safety. To ensure that you are always on the right track and safe with our Hoverboard, we ask you to read the safety notes first.
THE EXACT USE OF THE DEVICE
- The Hoverboard … must NOT be used on public roads.
- It is only allowed for use on private property
- Hoverboards…. may only be driven on level and dry ground.
- The Hoverboard must not be used to transport any objects or animals.
- The Hoverboard is intended for private use only.
- The device is not designed for commercial purposes, such as rental.
- Our Hoverboard must not be driven by boys and girls under the age of 7ears {it could be considered a toy).
- {In principle) children and young people – if they are under 14 years of age
- must always be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
- Only people weighing more than 20 kg and less than 120 kg are allowed on our Hoverboard.
- Modifications to the Hoverboard are not permitted. In case of any modifications, our guarantee will become void.
- Please use our device only as described in this manual.
- If our Hoverboard is used improperly, this can result in serious injury and damage.
- The use of our device is always at your own risk and responsibility. is not liable for damages or injuries resulting from incorrect use and non- compliance with the safety instructions for our device.
- Therefore you should always be cautious and careful: Drive with foresight. You must at all times take into account that external factors – construction works, obstacles and sudden changes in the environment – may affect and endanger your safety.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- The max. achievable speed is 15 km/h. Should you exceed this, a warning signal will be heard.
- Pregnant women, people with disabilities, heart disease, hypertension or limited mobility are not allowed to drive our Hoverboard.
- You must not use our device if you have consumed alcohol or medication.
- Make sure that you only get on our Hoverboard when the use is safe for yourself and your fellow human beings.
- Dangers and limitations must be established beforehand.
- If you are travelling with our device, stand with your feet on the designated area (foot pads).
- Always drive at a speed which is safe for you and others.
- If you are travelling in groups with others, always keep sufficient distance to avoid accidents.
- When make a turn with the device, keep your balance: pay attention to your body’s centre of gravity in order to avoid falling.
- Very important: Never let yourself be distracted, for example by loud music on the headphones, important telephone conversations or unconcentrated driving.
- Please keep away from wet grounds and conditions when driving,
- Avoid driving long distances in reverse. Do not make turning manoeuvres when you are travelling at high speed.
- Do not use our device at night, or in poor visibility conditions.
- Avoid driving over obstacles, over crooked terrain and unsafe slopes. Do not drive over icy or snowy ground in winter.
- If you ever detect a defect at our device, or if it fell and is damaged, please stop using it. In this case, please contact your dealer’s customer support immediately.
- If you use our Hoverboard, you should wear appropriate clothing: Please take care of proper footwear. You must be able to move well.
- Choose a route to train your driving practice: You must be able to safely control the device: forward, backwards, turn, stop and get off again.
- If you are still feeling uneasy when driving, you must pay particular attention to obstacles. Carefully consider if you will in fact be able to get past the obstacle.
- Use our Hoverboard and accessories only at normal temperature conditions.
- Follow the instructions given when charging the battery. Observe the temperature conditions.
- Our Hoverboard weighs approx. 12.5 kg. When transporting the device, make sure it won’t fall.
- Our Hoverboard does not have a starter and / or brake mechanism: It can only be driven by shifting the body weight.
- Please always wear suitable protective clothing: for your size and weight: This will protect your wrist, knee, head and elbow from injuries. We recommend using reflectors as well.
- Please always test the exact steering setting before using our Hoverboard. Also, make sure that all screws are tightened and no external damage is found.
- We advise beginners to train driving with friends and acquaintances or parents.
- When getting off from the Hoverboard, please be aware that it is still coasting to a stop. This could harm people.
- Only get off the Hoverboard in backwards direction because otherwise it could continue driving and thus cause injuries.
NOTES ON BATTERY SAFETY

The battery must be protected from excessive sunlight, heat, fire, etc: It could explode if this is disregarded.

For more information, please read our notes on temperature in section “Technical data of the device”.

If you will not use the battery for 30 days, please charge it completely.

Please fully charge the battery after 90 days: Otherwise the battery could discharge itself and break. Please bear in mind that this damage is not covered by the warranty.

Please do not open, and not try to open the battery. Please do not touch the
content. Do not touch the poles. -
To recharge the battery, please use only the charger supplied. If you perceive a smell, or if the battery heats up, please stop the charger immediately.

The batteries cannot be removed or replaced. They are fixed to the device.

When disposing of the installed battery, it must first be removed and thendisposed of separately from the Hoverboard. Please have the batteries replaced only by qualified personnel. Please do not do this yourself. Pleaseread again our section 5. Disposal.

Please do not open the housing of our Hoverboard in order to probably change the battery yourself.

The battery charger must not be used by children.
-
People with restricted physical, sensory or mental abilities must not use the device. If there is insufficient experience and knowledge, it must not be used.

The person concerned must be supervised, and the correct handling of the equipment and the risks involved must be understood.

Children are not allowed to play with the charger
-
Children must not clean or service the device. If the charger cable is defective, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, a specialist dealer or another qualified person. Otherwise there is danger.

After use, turn off the charger and disconnect it from the power supply. Please allow it to cool down before you transport, clean or store it.

It is crucial to protect electrical parts from moisture. When cleaning the appliance, or when it is in use, make sure that no liquid is dripping or flowing into the appliance.

Otherwise, you may suffer an electric shock. Do not keep the charger under water. Refer to point 4.3 Storage of the Hoverboard and transport.

When you start the charging process, always ensure sufficient air supply.Gases could form here.
-
When using the charger, be sure to periodically check for damage. You canonly use a defective charger again if it has been refurbished.

Do not use the charger if it has taken a hit or a knock: for example, when it fell or is damaged for another reason.
-
If the device is defective, do not connect a charger. Otherwise you could suffer an electric shock.

Do not disassemble the charger under any circumstances. Only experts or the authorised technical customer service may be instructed with the repair. If the assembly was faulty, this may cause an electric shock.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
Danger of injury. Do not use our device if the battery power is less than 15 %. This will prevent damage to the battery and to your device. Please immediately charge your battery fully.We recommend that you charge your battery completely as a matter of procedure.
- The charger port (1) is next to the on / off button (2).
- Please connect the charger cable (8) to the mains cable (9).
- Now connect the charger cable (8) to the charger port (1 ).
- Please connect the mains cable (9) to a power socket. Please pay attention to the notes on the type plate of the charger (8, 9).
- Indicator light is green: charging is complete or charger (8, 9) cannot be connected. Indicator light is red: Device is charging
- Please press the power button (2) to activate or deactivate the product.
- Place your left foot on the left foot pad (4) if you get on the board with your left foot first. If you get on the board with the right foot first, please place it on the right foot pad (4). Then you must be swift to place the respective other foot on the foot pad (4). To get on the Hoverboard with both feet at once can also be done of course, however this requires great skill.
- When you have assumed a safe body position, you can control the device by moving your body or your weight. (Fig. 2). Please refer to the table below for control. Attention: Please do not lean too much in one direction.
CLEANING THE HOVERBOARD
Please deactivate the device. If you wish to clean the device, remove the plug
of the charger (8, 9) from the power socket. Now let all parts cool down
completely.

When cleaning the appliance, do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners. Please do without coarse and hard brushes. Objects, such as from metal, which have hard edges, leave scuffs on the device. Please bear in mind: Solvents are harmful to your health. They also may affect the plastic of your device. The surface may be damaged by this.

Should you wish to clean the charger and the Hoverboard (8, 9), use a slightly damp cloth. Please ensure that subsequently all parts are rubbed dry with a cloth.

If you wish to transport our Hoverboard and its accessories, please make sure it is deactivated and cooled down fully. We would advise that
you always use the original packaging for transport or a carrying bag. -
Please ensure that the Hoverboard does not fall during transport.

Our device must be protected against impacts and vibrations. Especially when you transport it in a vehicle
Method 1:
Search for the application named “TaoTao Plus” in Google Play Store or APP
Store, and then install it to your smartphone. After opening the APP, enter
the initial password: 000000, then the APPand Hoverboard can be successfully
connected.
Method 2:
Please scan the QR code below, then install the APP on your smartphone, and
then you canconnect the APP and hoverboard.

PAIRING YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICE
- Make sure both the Bluetooth® function in your device and the scooter are turned on.
- On your device, locate the Bluetooth® device list. Select “HOVERBOARD” from the list .
- After the pairing iscompleted, you can use the hoverboard to play music.
European Disposal Directive 2002/96/EG
Never dispose your training device in your regular household waste. Dispose
the device only at a local or approved disposal. Take care of the currently
ap- plicable regulations. If you have doubts contact your local authorities
for information about a correct and environment friendly disposal option.
batteries/rechargable batteries
In accordance with the battery regulation you are legally obliged as an end
user to return all used batteries. Disposal in the regular household waste is
forbidden by law. On the most batteries you will find the symbol which
remember you about this regula- tion. Beside this symbol there is usually
information about the contained heavy metal. Such heavy metals require an
enviroment friendly disposal. As an end user you are legally obliged to submit
used batteries at the appropriate collection point of your city or
commercially. If you have doubts contact your local authorities for
information about a correct and environment friendly disposal option.
recycling loop
Packaging material can be conveyed back to the raw material cycle. Dispose of
packaging material in accordance with legal provisions. Information can be
retrieved from the return or collections systems of your community.
