Frequently Asked Questions

Will the unit charge when the vehicle is off and drain my battery?
No the car charger has built in low voltage protection to prevent charging when the vehicle is off and prevent draining your car battery.

What do I do if the indicator turns red?
Change from 10A to 5A setting. Not all vehicles are created equal. Unfortunately some can not maintain 10A output and you will need to switch to the 5A setting. Most vehicles have multiple 12V outlets, we would recommend attempting all to see if they function on the 10A setting.

My cable is not functioning and indicator stays red on all 12V sockets. How do I change the fuse?
There is a 15A Tube fuse in the tip of the male 12V cigarette. Unscrew the tip ( be careful you do not loose any parts) remove the tube fuse to inspect if it is blown. Replace the tube fuse. These are very common fuses found at most auto locations.
