Frequently Asked Questions
Can I plug the Flex 100i directly into a Goal Zero Yeti?
No. You need an MC4 to HPP adapter to connect the Flex 100i to a Yeti power station.
How many solar panels can I connect together?
It varies depending on the device you’re pairing your panels with. For example, the Goal Zero Yeti 4000 PRO will accept a maximum of 5 Flex 100i panels in series, while the Yeti 1500X and all other ‘X’ line products can only accommodate 2 panels in series.
Can I chain my Flex 100i with third-party solar panels?
No. The Flex 100i is not guaranteed to work with any other manufacturers’ products. Many solar panels are manufactured differently. Pairing your Flex 100i with third-party panels may result in product damage, fires, or other serious issues.
How flexible is the Flex 100i?
The Flex 100i is most flexible when lengthwise. In this direction it can bend at a 0.4 m radius. If the panel is forced to bend at a tighter radius than 0.4m, it may result in lasting damage to the panel. If you are using the panel and it seems to have maxed out on flexibility, do not force it to bend further.
