Razor MX500 Charger Port
Required Tools: (Not included)
A. 4 mm Allen wrench E. Flat screwdriver
B. 5 mm Allen wrench.
C. 10 mm wrench
D. Phillips screwdriver
WARNING
CAUTION: To avoid potential shock or other injury, turn power switch OFF and disconnect charger before performing any assembly or maintenance procedures. Failure to follow these steps in the correct order may cause irreparable damage.
Installation
Step 1
Remove the two (2) Allen bolts under the seat using a 5 mm Allen wrench and a
10 mm wrench to hold the nut from the bottom and then remove the fairing away
from the unit.
Step 2
Remove the two (2) Allen bolts under the seat using a 5 mm Allen wrench and a
10 mm wrench to hold the nut from the bottom and then remove the fairing away
from the unit.
Step 3
Remove the four (4) Phillips screws that hold the battery cover, two (2) at
the bottom and two (2) at the front. Also remove the two (2) 4 mm Allen bolts
on the top of the battery cover. Locate and disconnect charger port and
battery connectors from the controller.
Step 4
Using a Phillips screwdriver remove two (2) screws on the front of the charger
port.
Step 5
Using a Phillips screwdriver remove one more screw located on the charger port
at the back next to the power switch.
Step 6
Using a flat screwdriver remove the silicone at the back of the charger and
push the charger port out of the battery cover.
Step 7
Reverse the procedures
- Reattach charger port to battery cover.
- Reattach screws to charger port.
- Reconnect charger port and battery connectors to the controller.
- Reattach battery cover and fairing.
Attention: Charge battery for 12 hours before using.
