SETUP BLUETOOTH ROUTER

Setup using WiFi Hotspot

  •  The Cassia Bluetooth router provides a WiFi hotspot for initial setup. Its SSID is cassia-xxxxxx. The xxxxxx is the last 6-digits of router MAC ID.
  • Power on the Cassia router, search WiFi hotspot SSID on your computer, then connect to the WiFi hotspot. c. Please open an Internet browser on your computer, then enter the router’s default IP address: 192.168.40.1. The default login is admin/admin.

Setup using Ethernet connection

  • Connect the Cassia Bluetooth router to a managed Ethernet switch and access the DHCP table or scan using a port scanning tool to locate the IP address assigned to the router’s MAC ID.
  • Open an Internet browser on a computer that is connected to the same network and enter the IP address discovered above. The default login is admin/admin.

As part of your first login, you will be prompted to change the default password. If you forget your password or can’t find the WiFi hotspot, please reset the router to default settings by pressing and holding the reset button for 10 seconds.

MOUNTING & INSTALLATION

  1. Place the S2000 on a flat, unobstructed surface or mount it using the supplied mounting kit in a vertical or horizontal orientation.

  2. If mounting, first screw mounting plate into wall or ceiling.

  3. Then, connect S2000 to power with supplied Micro USB cable & power adapter and to network via Ethernet or WiFi (2.4GHz only). S2000 can also connect to a Power over Ethernet (PoE) connection.

  4. Place S2000 router at a slight angle against the mounting plate and twist into place (clockwise).

IMPORTANT: For best range results, we recommend mounting the S2000 on the ceiling in an unobstructed location.
