Thank you for purchasing the XTS-614 portable speaker with Bluetooth® wireless technology from Xtech. We encourage you to read this quick installation guide thoroughly to get the most of this innovative wireless portable audio device.

Volume -/Previous track: Press this button briefly to decrease the volume level. Press and hold this button to play the previous track.

Power (Play-Pause/Mode/Handset) button: Press and hold this button to turn the speaker On/OFF. Double-press this button to cycle through the available input modes. Press it briefly to play or pause audio or to resume listening when a call has ended.
Hands-free mode:- Press this button once to answer and end a call.
- Press and hold for about 1.8 seconds if you wish to reject an incoming call.
- Press twice to dial the last number called (on supported devices).

Volume +/Next track: Press this button briefly to increase the volume level. Press and hold this button to play the next track.

Micro USB charging port: Charges the built-in battery of the speaker

Aux input jack: Allows the connection of any device equipped with an auxiliary 3.5mm audio connector (for wired playback). No other mode will work, if a 3.5mm cable is plugged in.

Built-in microphone: For hands-free calling and conferencing.
Note: In order to use the microphone the ruber cover has to be open; otherwise, the microphone will not work. -
Status LED (located under the rubber cover):
- In Bluetooth® mode, the LED blinks in blue to indicate that the device has entered into the pairing mode and is ready to be detectable for the first time.
- The LED glows solid blue to indicate that the device is successfully paired, or when the audio is paused.
- The status LED blinks slowly in blue while streaming music in BT and auxiliary modes.
- The LED turns red when the battery is charging. The red LED will turn off when the battery is fully charged.

Micro SDTM (TF) memory card: Allows music playback from compatible media files stored in a MicroSDTM (TF) memory card with a maximum storage capacity of 32G.
Basic operation
- Use the supplied Micro USB cable to charge your portable speaker directly from your computer, laptop or AC adapter.
- Make sure that your portable speaker is fully charged before using it for the first time. Check that the LED light turns ON while the speaker is charging. It will turn off when the speaker is fully charged and ready to use.
- The battery has to be initially charged for at least 3 hours. Thereafter, it will take from 2 to 3 hours to recharge.
Advanced operation
Note: Before starting, please make sure your device has the built-in Bluetooth® feature available
Pairing the speaker with your phone
- Make sure the speaker is off.
- Set your Bluetooth® phone to “discover” the wireless speaker.
- Place both devices not more than one meter away from each other.
- Press and hold the Power button to turn ON the speaker. The blue LED starts blinking, accompanied by a short tone, to indicate that the device has entered into the pairing mode and is ready to be detectable for the first time.
- On your mobile phone, tap the newly discovered audio device (XTS-614) displayed in the Bluetooth® list.
- When the speaker asks if you want to pair with it, click Yes or OK to accept.
- If you have a lower Bluetooth® version, you may be prompted to enter the passkey 0000 (4 zeros).
- If pairing is successful, a tone will be heard and the LED will turn solid blue. If after 60 seconds the pairing process fails, please repeat steps 1 through 7 described above.
- We recommend turning off the device when not in use, to conserve battery power.
Using the speaker with Bluetooth® technology
Answering and ending a call using your mobile device
- When there is an incoming call, the speaker will generate a tone to alert you of this event.
- Briefly press the Power/Play-Pause/Mode/Handset button to pick up. You may also press the answer button on your cellular phone to take the call using the speaker.
- To end a call, tap the Power/Play-Pause/Mode/Handset button once again. Likewise, you may also end the call directly using the command on your cell phone.
- When listening to music using your mobile phone, playback will resume automatically once the call has ended.
- By pressing the Power/Play-Pause/Mode/Handset button twice, the phone will redial the last number called (on supported devices).
- Press and hold the Power/Play/Pause/Handset button for about 1.8 seconds if you wish to reject an incoming call.
Note: If you press it too long the speaker will turn off.
Music playback in Auxiliary mode

First, connect one side of the supplied 3.5mm cable to the auxiliary port on the speaker and the other side of the cable to the source of choice.

The unit will automatically connect to the AUX mode.

Start playing audio files directly from the source of choice.
Press the Power/Play-Pause/Mode/Handset button, to play or pause the audio. -
The speaker will remain in this mode until the Power/Play-Pause/Mode/Handset button is pressed to change to the mode of choice or disconnect the 3.5mm cable.
Pairing two portable speakers with TWS technology
- Make sure both speakers are in BT mode (follow steps above to allow this function).
- Press the Power button twice on one of the speakers to enter TWS mode.
- A tone will be heard on both speakers once it enters pairing mode.
- Once the devices are connected , the BT light in the main unit will stop blinking, and in the second unit it will remain blinking, until it connects to a mobile device via BT.
- Connect the speaker to a mobile device via BT, once connected, play a song to verify that both units play the same audio file.
Note: If the speaker is in TWS mode when is turned off, it will still be in TWS mode when it is turned on again.
