Welcome

Thank you for choosing to power your business with Epos Now. Your new POS terminal comes pre-installed with all the software you need, so you can be up and running in a matter of minutes. Follow the simple steps in this guide, and start running your business in the way you’ve always wanted.

What’s in the box?

Your box contains everything you need to start trading. Make sure you have each of the following:

Pro-C15W Point of Sale Terminal

• 1x Pro-C15W Point of Sale Terminal

• 1x Power Cable & Power Brick
  Thermal Receipt Printer

• 1x Thermal Receipt Printer

• 1x Printer Roll

• 1x USB Cable

• 1x Power Cable & Power Brick
  Cash Drawer

• 1x Cash Drawer

• 1x Ethernet Cable

Assembling the terminal stand

Once you’ve unpacked the terminal stand, start by attaching the base.

Place the terminal onto a clean and solid surface, with the screen facing downwards.

Slot the base onto the bottom of the stand, and tighten the four screws until they are secure.

Connecting the power

Connect the Power Cable into the power brick, and plug it into the wall.
With the terminal still face down on a flat surface, turn the stand to a 90-degree angle.

Feed the power cable through the gap in the base of the terminal stand, and insert it into the power cable port on the bottom of the terminal.

Turning on your POS system

To turn on your POS terminal, simply press the power button on the right-hand side of the terminal.

Network settings

Connecting to the internet – WiFi

1. Step 1
   To connect to WiFi on Android, simply swipe down from the top of the screen and hold the WiFi logo untill WiFi menu appears.

2. Step 2
   Turn on WiFi, and choose your WiFi network. Enter your WiFi password and hit connect.

3. Step 3
   Once you’ve connected to your network, navigate back to the start screen and hit ‘retry’.

Connecting to the internet – Ethernet

To connect via Ethernet, feed the cable through the gap in the base of the terminal stand, and plug it into the Ethernet port.

Your Receipt Printer

Remove the printer from its packaging, and connect the power brick to the cable. Then insert the power cable into the back of the printer.
Take the USB cable and insert it into the back of the printer.

Next, take the other end of the USB cable and insert it into the top left USB port in the panel at the bottom of the terminal.

Open the printer by pressing the grey button to the left of the logo, as highlighted in the diagram.
Slightly unravel the paper roll before placing inside the printer. The paper should come from beneath the roll, as pictured in the diagram.
Next, pull the end of the paper out the top of the printer and close the lid.
Turn on the power switch located on the front of the printer.

Your Cash Drawer

Take the hard wired cable from the back of the cash drawer, and plug it into the the back of the receipt printer.
The cash drawer does not need a separate power adapter.
Unlock the cash drawer with the set of keys provided by turning them horizontally.

Note: it’s important to keep these keys safe – they are unique to your cash drawer and cannot be replaced.

Change the Language in Epos Now

(Whilst in Labs).

• Install Labs in the AppStore found here.
• Navigate to the Labs page (Setup> Epos Now Labs) or click here.
• Locate the feature “Language Selector”
• Enable the feature

(When it has been graduated to all Accounts Globally)

• Navigate to the Company Setup Page (Setup > Company > Company Details)
• Locate the field “UI Language” and select your desired language from the dropdown and press Save.
