Long press and hold the corresponding buttons until LED flashes twice and beeper beeps once indicating that it is in pairing mode.
Note: Charging this device before using it.
Note: The pairing mode of the Remote Plus V2 will run for 3 min after
enabled, then the pairing mode will go off.
Private Listening
Listen to Fire TV audio through wired earphones/headphones.
- Remove the back cover of the Fire TV Alexa Voice Remote (3rd Gen) and replace it with the Remote Plus V2.
- Go to Fire TV Settings > Controllers > Other Bluetooth Devices > Add Bluetooth Devices.
- Press and hold the “V+” and “ ****” buttons on the Remote Plus V2 at the same time until the LED light blinks indicating that it is in pairing mode.
- The Fire TV will automatically discover the Bluetooth Devices, then select the Remote Plus 2 from the list to pair with your TV. When pairing is completed, a notification will come out on the TV to tell you that your Remote Plus V2 is connected then disconnect.
- Plug your earphones/headphones into the Remote Plus V2 audio, this will re-direct sound from TV speakers (or Soundbar) to earphones/headphones. Unplugging
earphones/headphones will re-direct audio back to TV speakers.
Remote Finder by APP
Using the mobile app as a bridge to initiate the beep to help you find the
misplaced remote.

Download the “Third Reality” App from IOS /Android app store.
Note: If you already have Third Reality App, please ensure it has been updated to the latest version. -
Press and hold the “V-” and “ ” buttons on the Remote Plus V2 at the same time until the LED light blinks indicating that it is in pairing mode.

Launch the app and then click “+” on the top right to enter in the “Device to add” page > choose “Remote Plus” > Tap icon to add a new Remote Plus V2.

Third Reality App will automatically discover the Remote Plus V2. After Remote Plus V2 is connected to the APP, please long press the “Remote” icon on the Device page to enter the details page and then tap the “Remote” icon on the details page to start beeping, letting you find your Remote.
Note: Press any key on the Remote Plus V2 to stop beeping when you find it.
Alexa FindMy Integration
- Open the “Amazon Alexa” app and then switch to the “More” Page > Find “Skills&Games” then enter in > Search for “Third Reality Skill” and then follow the instructions to enable the skill.
- After the skill is enabled, click the “DISCOVER DEVICES” button to discover the remotes that you have connected with the Third Reality App.
- Then you can say “Alexa, find my remote” or “Alexa, ring my remote” to help you find your Remote.
Note: Please ensure your Echo Devices are set up before adding trackers.
They need to have the latest software upgrade. You can try “Alexa, is my
software up to date?” to trigger software updates.
Note: Please ensure the Alexa App has been updated to the latest version.
LED
Use the built-in LED to help you see Remote buttons
- Turn on/off by pressing “ ” button
Battery
Remote Plus V2 uses a rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery to power Private
Listening, Remote Finder, and LED. This is independent of the 2 AAA batteries
that Fire TV Alexa Voice Remote uses.
The expected life of a single charge for Remote Plus V2 is about 30 hours of
Private Listening or 6 months of standby mode for Remote Finder.
LED will flash when the battery level is low. Charge Remote Plus V2 by
connecting the included USB cable to the micro-USB port on the bottom of
Remote Plus V2 (Power Adapter is not included). The LED light will glow dimly
when charging and then turn off when charging is completed.
Troubleshooting
- Reboot Remote Plus V2 Simply plug the original charger cable in and then out.
- Update the software of the Remote Plus V2 Open Third Reality App > enter in the details page of the Remote Plus V2 > click “Check Updates” and then follow the instructions to update the software over the air.
- TV is playing but there is no sound from the earphones Please restore the connection with the TV by unplugging and plugging the earphones.
- find function doesn’t work
• Make sure the software of Echo devices, Alexa App, and Third Reality App are up to date.
• Please go to the Devices Page of Alexa App > Click “Trackers” > Tap the icon on the top right > Ensure the status of the devices and general settings are all on.
• Make sure you are logged into the relevant Alexa Account.
