UL INFO Suitable for Wet Locations, suitable for mounting with 4 ft of ground. The camera wall plate is designed to be used with a compatible light fixture. To be compatible, the light fixture should a. support standard AC power (110-240V-50/60Hz) and a standard light bulb (60W maximum), and, b. should have a mounting plate that physically fits on the wall plate. Most light fixtures will fit, but the specifications are that the mounting plate should cover the central hole in the camera wall plate (3.85″ diameter), its width should be less than that of the wall plate (6.5″) and it’s topless than 5.75″ from the mounting screw (i.e., lower than the top of the camera wall plate when mounted). See figure on the right. This will allow for the gap between the light fixture and the wall plate to be water-proofed with a sealant (see step 8 below).

Disconnect power at fuse or circuit breaker before installing the CWP. Tightly attach proprietary CWP mounting bracket to the junction box. Snug, but do not tighten, the two adjustment screws in the center of the bracket.

Place CWP onto the two posts protruding from the CWP bracket. Level the CWP and fully tighten two adjustment screws referenced in step 1.

Attach the bracket that came with your chosen light fixture to the CWP by threading the two short screws into the two protruding posts of the CWP bracket. Adjust and level the light fixture bracket as necessary. Now use the provided holding hook (F) to suspend the light from the bracket you just installed, and free your hands for wiring.

Connect the wiring. Make sure you have a secure connection.
BLACK WIRE CWP <>  Junction Box
WHITE WIRE CWP < > Junction Box o Light Fixture
RED WIRE CWP < > BLACK WIRE Light Fixture
The Red Wire is AC Power controlled by the CWP.
Attach ground wire from the junction box to the light fixture mounting bracket. Push all 3 wire nuts inside the junction box for safety.

Now that the wiring is connected, mount your light fixture of choice to the CWP following the instructions for your specific light fixture. Install a lightbulb if necessary. (maximum wattage: 60W)
Typically, you will slide the light fixture over two screws attached to the mounting bracket, and secure the light with decorative nuts.
We strongly recommend you use silicone caulking to seal the gap between the wall and the Camera Wall Plate, as well as the gap between the Light Fixture and the Camera Wall Plate. Proper caulking will ensure that water does not enter the wall or the light fixture.

IMPORTANT: Caulk only the upper 2/3, leaving the lower lb uncaulked to enable drainage of any water that seeps in.

Adjust the height of the camera as needed by sliding the camera bar up or down to account for the light fixture height.

Once adjusted, but before securing the camera bar to the wall with supplied screws and anchors, reconnect power to fuse or circuit breaker, and follow the instructions in the app for WiFi setup. Using the app make sure the camera view is desired and unobstructed before securing the CWP to the wall.

Secure the camera bar to the wall by removing the camera bar bracket, and installing it on the wall at the desired height, then screw the camera bar into the camera bar bracket.

Get powered. Get the app.
