SAFETY INFORMATION
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read ALL instructions carefully before using the appliance for the
first time. We recommend that you keep this manual for future reference, even
if you are familiar with the product. The basic safety precautions should
always be followed. Failure to comply with this manual may cause fire,
electric shock, damage to the electrical appliance, and serious injury.
- Children or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge should NOT use this appliance. Unless they are supervised or are given instruction concerning the use of this appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children should NOT play with the appliance.
- The food dehydrator is designed for HOUSEHOLD use and similar places only, such as staff kitchens, shops, offices and other workplaces.
- DO NOT place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- DO NOT use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
- DO NOT immerse the cord, plug, or any part of the food dehydrator in water or other liquid.
- DO NOT allow the cord to hang over the edge of a table/counter, where it may be tripped over or pulled by children or pets.
- Keep the dehydrator away from curtains, tablecloths and other flamma-ble items as it can catch fire.
- Always place and operate the product on a flat, stable surface.
- The food dehydrator should not be left unattended while in operation.
- DO NOT cover anything on top of the food dehydrator while it is operating.
- Always allow the food dehydrator to be completely cooled before handling, cleaning, and storing.
- DO NOT leave the appliance running nonstop for more than 24 hours at a time. Allow it to rest for 2 hours before starting your next recipe to prolong product lifetime.
- DO NOT touch the hot surface. Use handle or gloves.
- Please DO NOT use it outdoors.
- Please turn the power off before putting in or taking out the food.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
- Plug the appliance into a 120V, 60Hz supply only. Check if the local power supply voltage matches the voltage of electrical appliances before use.
- Ensure that the cord is fully extended.
- Make sure that the food dehydrator is switched off and remove the plug from the main electrical supply, when not in use, and before cleaning.
- DO NOT place any part of this appliance on or near a hot area. For example, hot gas, electric burner, or heated oven, otherwise the plastic will melt and cause a fire.
- DO NOT use the appliance with wet hands.
- Check regularly that neither cord nor plug is damaged and DO NOT operate the dehydrator if they are or the appliance has malfunctioned or the appliance has been damaged in any manner.
- DO NOT attempt to repair the appliance yourself. If the appliance or plug is damaged, it should be repaired by qualified service personnel, otherwise there is a risk of electric shock.
- DO NOT use the food dehydrator with an extension cord unless this cord has been checked and tested by a qualified technician or service person.
SPECIFICATIONS
KNOW YOUR FOOD DEHYDRATOR
Ultrean food dehydrator machine circulates warm air from the automatic fan to dry the food nice and evenly. Dehydrating concentrates flavors of the food, so fruits taste sweeter and herbs become more flavorful, and it is a perfect way to preserve fruits, snacks, vegetables, bread, flowers and more. With transparent mesh trays, the dehydrator allows users to observe the drying process easily. The height of the trays can be adjusted from 0.8in (2cm) to 1.6in (4cm) and it make the dehydrator possible to dry food with different shapes and sizes.
PARTS AND FEATURES
OPERATION
For the First Time Use
- Unpack the food dehydrator and check if there are any parts damaged or missing during the transport.
- Use a damp cloth to wipe and clean all parts and accessories of the appliance. Use detergent as needed. Do not put the housing and cord into water or other liquids.
- Please note that the food dehydrator may emit a thin smoke or distinct odor for the first time. Run the appliance for 30 minutes at any temperaure without placing any food inside. Make sure the room is ventilated when operating the dehydrator.
- Rinse and dry all the parts.
Now your food dehydrator machine is ready to use!
Adjust the Height Between Trays
All the trays have alignment arrows cast into both side of handles. Set the
trays in place so that all the arrows are visible on the top of the handles.
When properly stacked, trays will be locked into each other. Depending on the
thickness of the food, you can turn the tray from short stack to tall stack by
rotating it 180 degrees. The trays can be stacked in any combination, and can
be adjusted to suit thick food up to 1.6 in {4cm) like strawberries, or thin
food up to 0.8in (2cm) like banana slices.
Refer to the photos below to identify the difference between these two
heights.
Stack the trays in the configuration shown on the left, with the tab of the
upper tray sits next to the tab of the lower tray. Rotate the upper tray so
that its tab sitting on top of the tab of the lower tray. As shown below.
Using Your Food Dehydrator Machine

Place the food dehydrator machine on a flat and level surface.

Put the clean food in the trays. DO NOT overload and Never overlap the food. Make sure the lid and trays are all correct side up before moving to the next step.

Unwind the power cord and plug the power cord into the outlet. Press the ” POWER ” button and the screen will light up with a beep sound. Now, the machine is in default mode, the display shows the default time and the temperature of” 10:00 h, 158° F “.

To adjust the time: Press the ” Set” button, the ” 10:00 ” on the screen flashes. Rotate the Control Knob clockwise to increase and anticlockwise to decrease the time. Time changes in 30 minutes increments. {Drying time range: 00:30- 48:00).
To adjust the temperature: Press the” SET” button again, the” 158″ on the screen flashes. Rotate the Control Knob clockwise to increase and anticlockwise to decrease the temperature. Temperature changes in 9° F increments. (Drying temperature range: 95° F-167° F ). -
When finish the setup, press the” FORWARD ” button, there will be a beep sound and the signal” : ” blink, the machine starts working.

When the set time counts down to “00:00h “, the heating element stops working. The fan will continue to run for 10 seconds and the buzzer rings, the display shows “END”. After 3 minutes with no-operation, the display goes off.
- • If you want to adjust the time and temperature during operation, press the ” ® ” button and all functions will be paused, the signal ” : ” on the display stops flashing and ” FORWARD ” on the display keeps flashing. Then press the ” SET” button and rotate the Control Knob to adjust the time and temperature. After finishing setting, press ” FORWARD ” again to continue the operation.
• During the operation under any function mode, press the ” POWER ” button, the dehydrator will shut down and all setups will be reset. Press the ” POWER ” again, the dehydrator gets back to the default time and temperature “10:00 h, 158° F”.
- • If you want to adjust the time and temperature during operation, press the ” ® ” button and all functions will be paused, the signal ” : ” on the display stops flashing and ” FORWARD ” on the display keeps flashing. Then press the ” SET” button and rotate the Control Knob to adjust the time and temperature. After finishing setting, press ” FORWARD ” again to continue the operation.
NOTE
- Your dried fruit and vegetables from food dehydrator use no preservatives, no artificial coloring and it might look different from those stores and supermarkets.
- Record the humidity and weight of the food before and after dehydrating to help improve your drying techniques for the future.
- This dehydrator has overheat protection. When internal components become too hot, and an unsafe temperature is detected, the appliance will automatically shutoff as a safety feature.
Helpful Tips for Drying
It is recommended to check your food every hour during dehydrating. Some fruits such as apples, pears and apricots need to be pre-treated before drying to slow the loss of vitamins, pre-treated also prevents loss of color and flavor during drying. Always thoroughly wash food to ensure it does not contain dirt, bacteria and other harmful substances. Correct food storage after drying will help to keep food in good quality and save the nutrients.
Drying time for pre-treated food may vary due to the following factors:
- Thickness of pieces or slices.
- Number of trays with food being dried.
- Volume of food being dried.
- Humidity in the environment.
- Moisture in the food.
- Your preferences of drying for each type of dried food.
Helpful Tips for Food Storage
- Store the food only after it completely cooled down.
- Food can be kept longer if stored in a cool, dry and dark place.
- Store your food in a clean, dry and airtight container and close tightly to keep the dried food from dehydrating. Never store food directly in a metal container.
- The best temperature for store the dried food is 60° F or lower.
- Check the dried food frequently to ensure quality. If the dried food getting soft, you should dehydrate it again to avoid spoiling.
- To keep the best quality, dried fruit, vegetables, herbs, nuts, bread should not be stored in the refrigerator or freezer for more than 1 year. Dried meats, poultry and fish should not be stored in the refrigerator for any more than 3 months, or in the freezer for more than 1 year.
- Always check the food condition before consumption. Throw it away if the food is spoilage.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Cleaning
Ensure the power plug has been removed from the power outlet and always allow
the food dehydrator to be cooled completely before cleaning.
- Wash the trays and liners of the appliance in warm soapy water.
- If there is food residue on the trays, soak them in hot, soapy water and use a soft brush to remove the residue, rinse them with clean water.
- Wipe the inside and outside of the dehydrator with a soft and dry cloth after the appliance cools down, never use a metal scouring sponge, or scrubbing brushes to clean the appliance, as it may damage the dehydrator.
- The trays are dishwasher safe, upper level is recommended.
Storage
Ensure the power plug has been removed from the power outlet and always allow
the dehydrator to be cooled completely before cleaning.
- Wind the power cord of the dehydrator for storage and when not in use.
- DO NOT store anything on top of the dehydrator.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Troubleshoot your problem by using the chart below. If the dehydrator still
does not operate correctly, it may be a defective unit. Please contact a
qualified technician or contact our support team if it’s within the warranty.
DO NOT try to repair it by yourself. Otherwise, there is a risk of electric
shock.

LIMITED WARRANTY
All Ultrean products come with a limited warranty against manufacturing and
workmanship defects. This warranty does not apply to misuse, accident,
alteration, tampering or vandalism, improper or lack of maintenance, damage in
return transit, mishandling, unsupervised use by children under 18 years of
age, the product that has been used for commercial, rental, or any other use
for which the product is not intended for. And electrical problems arose as a
result of faults in your electrical supply.

replace any product found to be defective due to manufacturer flaws based on
eligibility.
