PAIR SMART KEY TO YOUR SAFE

  1. Follow the Smart Key pairing instructions specific to your safe (refer to you safe user manual) to begin the pairing sequence.
  2. When your safe is ready to receive a Smart Key transmission, aim Smart Key Nano 2.0 towards your safe and press the central enter button.
  3. Your safe will indicate if pairing was either successful or failed, if it failed start the sequence over again.

UNPAIRING YOUR SMART KEY

NOTE Toggling Nano 2.0 OFF from the app or keypad will NOT delete a paired Nano 2.0 from the safe’s memory. In the event a Nano 2.0 is lost or stolen, you can delete the lost Smart Key from the safe’s memory. This will remove all paired Nano 2.0s from the safe.

You can unpair your Smart Key Nano 2.0 at any time in the event it is lost or stolen using the unpairing instructions specific to your safe (refer to your safe user manual) to begin the pairing sequence.

OPERATION

To Open Your Safe:
When in range of your safe, approximately 6-8 feet, press the enter button to open the safe.

MULTIPLE SAFE MANAGEMENT

  • One safe can be paired with 10 Smart Keys. It is recommended to pair one Smart Key per safe.
  • You can manage multiple safes through the Vaultek® smartphone app.

CAUTION when managing multiple safes there is chance you can open all safes within range.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

Replace the battery per steps below:

  1. Twist base of Smart Key courter clockwise to access battery compartment.
  2. Remove old battery and install a new CR2032 battery.
  3. Assemble Smart Key back together, re-pairing is not required.

MOUNTING

The mountable base comes with double-sided tape allowing for quick and easy installation. Simply peel off the protective layer on the reverse side of the base, and place where desired.

Tip! Before installing your mountable base, clean the mounting area to ensure surface’s dry for proper adhesion.

TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

  1. Make sure you are within range of the safe, approximately 6-8 feet, for the Smart Key to operate.
  2. Make sure safe battery is sufficiently charged or plugged in. As a built-in failsafe to prevent Smart Key Nano 2.0 from using remaining power, :he remote will not open your safe if the safe battery is less than 5%.

It service is needed Vaulter will, at its option, exchange or repair without charge for parts or labor.
