Important! Nano Key 2.0 should only be used when the safe paired is within sight in the same room, the normal range of 6-8 range.

PAIR NANO KEY 2.0 TO YOUR SAFE
1 Follow the Nano Key 2.0 pairing instructions specific to your safe (refer to your safe’s user manual) to begin the pairing sequence.
2 When your safe is ready to receive a Nano Key transmission, aim Nano Key 2.0 towards your safe and press and hold the Nano Key 2.0 button until the LED light starts flashing yellow and release.
3 Your safe will indicate if pairing was either successful or failed, if it failed start the sequence over again.
UNPAIRING YOUR NANO KEY 2.0
NOTE: Toggling Nano Key 2.0 OFF from the app or keypad will NOT delete a paired Nano Key from the safe’s memory. In the event a Nano Key 2.0 is lost or stolen, you can delete the lost Nano Key from the safe’s memory by unpairing. This will remove all paired Nano Keys from the safe.
You can unpair your Nano Key 2.0 at any time in the event it is lost or stolen using the unpairing instructions specific to your safe. Refer to your safe’s user manual to begin the unpairing sequence.
OPERATION
To Open Your Safe:
When in range of your safe, approximately 6-8 feet, press the Nano Key 2.0 button to open the safe.
MULTIPLE SAFE MANAGEMENT
A One safe can be paired with 10 Nano Keys. It is recommended to pair one Nano Key per safe.
B You can manage multiple safes through the Vaultek® smartphone app.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Replace the battery per steps below:
1 Twist the base of Nano Key 2.0 counter clockwise to access the battery compartment.
2 Remove old battery and install a new CR2032 battery.
3 Assemble Nano Key 2.0 back together, re-pairing is not required.
Low Battery Warning: The Nano Key 2.0 LED will flash red (3) times after opening a paired safe.
MOUNTING
The mountable base comes with double-sided tape allowing for quick and easy installation. Simply peel off the protective layer on the reverse side of the base, and place where desired.
Tip!
Before installing your mountable base, clean the mounting area to ensure surface is dry for proper adhesion.

TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS
1 Make sure you are within range of the safe, approximately 6-8 feet, for the Nano Key 2.0 to operate.
2 Make sure safe battery is sufficiently charged or plugged in. As a built-in failsafe to prevent Nano Key 2.0 from using remaining power, the remote will not open your safe if the safe battery is less than 5%.

Vaultek® is committed to providing products of high quality and value and makes every effort to ensure its products are free of defects.
Vaultek® guarantees your Smart Key will be free of defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase from an authorized dealer.
The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser and not transferable. This warranty is only valid for products purchased and operated in the U.S. This warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, use in any manner for which is not designed, neglected, modification, damage inadvertently caused by the user, accidents and/or tampering.
If service is needed Vaultek® will, at its option, exchange or repair without charge for parts or labor. Upon authorization of warranty service, customers are responsible for securely packaging product. Additionally, customers are responsible for costs of shipping to and from Vaultek® service center.
If the claimed defect cannot be identified or reproduced, customers will be held responsible for the costs incurred. Please have the following information available before you begin a claim with Vaultek®:
-Purchaser’s name, mailing address, email address, and a phone number.
-Copy of receipt or online order number (if purchased directly from us or Amazon)
