SET UP PROCESS

POWER ON THE DEVICE

To power on and enjoy the Carvaan Musicbar follow the steps below:

1. Connect the Power Adapter to the wall plug and the other end to the “DC in” port on the back panel of the device
2. Switch on the power from the wall plug
3. Click on the “Power” button on the top panel of the device/remote to power it on
4. Enjoy your music on the Carvaan Music bar

Note:

1. Use supplied power adapter only
2. The device requires to be connected to AC power with the bundled adapter at all times for operation
3. When the device is powered on, the power button on the device panel is backlit in red color
4. When the device is powered on and a mode is selected, the power button and mode button on the device is backlit in green and blue color respectively

MUSIC MODES

All the music modes work on the Carvaan Musicbar irrespective of it being connected to the TV.
To choose a music mode, press the corresponding mode button on the top panel of the device/remote
When the device is powered on and a mode is selected, the power button and mode button on the device is backlit in green and blue color respectively

SAREGAMA
500 pre-loaded evergreen songs by legends like Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Mohammed Rafi and Mukesh; this is the default mode on first power on

FM
Listen to local FM stations. To tune to FM, press the FM mode button
To auto tune FM stations, follow the steps:
Step 1: Press the play/pause button for 5 seconds
Step 2: Searching for all FM signals will start. You will hear a searching sound and each FM station will play for approx. 3-4 seconds till all stations are tuned
Step 3: Press the next/previous button to go to the next/previous station
FM frequency: 87.5 to 108 MHZ
Note: It is recommended that the loose end of the connected antenna is placed near a window for improved FM reception

**BLUETOOTH**
Pair your mobile phone/tablet with the Carvaan Music bar. Enjoy songs stored on your personal mobile phone/tablet on the device
Support for Bluetooth v5.0

USB/AUX-IN**

1. Plugin a USB into the USB port on the back panel of Carvaan Musicbar to enjoy your personal collection of songs
2. You can also connect an Aux cable in the Aux IN port on the back panel of the device to play songs from your phone/tablet
3. You can connect a Co-Axial cable on the back panel of the device to the TV to enjoy sound output on device speakers
4. Press the mode button to switch between USB, Aux-In, and Co-Axial output
   Support for USB 3.0
   supports USB pen drive up to 32 GB

CONNECT CARVAAN MUSICBAR TO YOUR TV

Connect your TV to the device using the HDMI cable to enjoy the audio output of any movie, web series, or program playing on TV on the Carvaan Music bar.

The most preferred way to connect Musicbar & TV is HDMI

***Supports HDMI ARC only

To connect the Carvaan Musicbar to TV

1. Plug one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI (ARC) port on the TV and the other end to the HDMI port on the back panel of the device
2. Turn on the TV
3. Press the HDMI button on the device/remote to switch to HDMI mode
4. Enjoy the TV audio on the Carvaan Music bar
5. If the device is on any mode other than HDMI, press the HDMI button on device/remote to switch to HDMI mode

CO-AXIAL

In case the TV is not compatible with HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC), connect a Co-Axial cable from the TV to the device to enjoy the TV sound output on device speakers

1. Connect the Co-Axial cable to the back panel of the device and the audio out port on the TV
2. Turn on the TV
3. Press the USB/Aux/HDMI button on the remote to switch to Co-Axial mode

Note: Your TV Audio Settings need to be set to ‘External Speakers’ and disable TV speakers

FRONT VIEW

CONNECT SUBWOOFER TO CARAVAN MUSIC BAR
The subwoofer comes with an attached Co-Axial cable, plug the loose end to the Co-Axial out port on the back panel of the Carvaan Musicbar

PORTS ON THE BACK PANEL

REMOTE

BASS: Increase/decrease the volume of the base/low-frequency notes
TREBLE: Increase/decrease the volume of the treble/high-frequency notes

AUDIO MODES
To set an audio mode, press the corresponding mode button on the remote
MUSIC: Create a musical concert-like experience while playing your favorite songs
MOVIE: Enjoy a true cinematic effect while watching a movie
VOCAL: Hear your TV programs and news anchors – loud, crisp, and clear
3D: Play games / watch sports in a stadium like an environment

HOW TO REPLACE BATTERY IN REMOTE

To replace the remote control battery:

1. Open the battery compartment
2. Insert a fresh CR2025 battery with the correct polarity (-/+)
3. Close the battery compartment
4. Discard the used battery

HOW TO RESET CARVAAN MUSICBAR

If you want to reset your Carvaan Musicbar, follow the steps below:

1. Power on your Carvaan Musicbar
2. Press the HDMI/USB/AUX button on the remote for 3-4 seconds
3. Your Carvaan Musicbar is reset to its original factory settings. All Bluetooth device connections and saved FM stations will be erased

SAFETY HANDLING

1. CARE FOR PRODUCT (CARAVAN MUSICBAR & SUBWOOFER)
   a. Keep the product away from dust and excessive heat (heat registers, stoves, etc.)
   b. Prevent spillage of water/any other liquid as this can cause the failure of the product or could prove to be a potential fire hazard
   c. Clean the unit with a dry cloth only
   d. Do not walk on or pinch the power cord close to the plug
   e. Do not use a different brand of power supply cable, use the bundled power supply cable only
   f. Use only the bundled subwoofer with the Carvaan Musicbar
   g. Do not use the subwoofer with any other soundbar
   h. Remove the remote battery when it is not used for a longer duration
   i. Do not mix different brands or types of batteries in the remote
   j. Turn off the power source when not in use

2. OTHERS
   a. Use attachments/accessories as specified by the manufacturer
   b. Please contact an authorized service center for any repair/ servicing requirements or call the toll free no. 1800-102-7799 for any queries

WARRANTY OVERVIEW

Carvaan Musicbar comes with a 1-year warranty on all parts, excluding accessories. This includes servicing/repair or replacement of damaged parts. The warranty does not apply and does not cover the following:

• Liability for loss of data/content loaded in the product due to misuse or tampering.
• Damage caused due to force majeure events; events caused by fire, water, electrical disturbances etc.; events beyond the control of Saregama; acts of negligence or mishandling; usage for commercial, business, industrial, educational, or rental purposes

WARRANTY TYPE

Home service and Pickup warranty are provided. Home service warranty requires customers to have a technician visit their home and service the product. This type of warranty can be availed by customers in locations where there is an authorized service technician available. Pick-up warranty service requires that the product along with the original invoice be picked up from the customer’s location, at the sole cost and responsibility of the company.
Once the Product is serviced/repaired/replaced, the company shall be responsible to deliver the product back to the customer.

Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please follow disposal and recycling instructions issued by the concerned local authority.
