T3 Repeater

T3 Repeater System

T3 Repeater is a system option designed to enhance signal effectiveness in harsh environments by retransmitting signals to and from tough and hard to reach areas. T3 Repeater retransmits signals from the Base to the PASS (man- down alarm) and from the PASS to the Base. The T3 Repeater is omni- directional, enclosed in an industrial grade case and is permanently mounted. T3 Repeater is powered by 85-264 VAC 50/60 Hz Single Phase 1Amp, with a lead acid battery backup system.

T3 Repeater Operation

Once the repeater has been prepared for AC power, the unit may be plugged in. AC power connector is a screw less Terminal rated for solid or stranded wire from 14-22AWG. Wire should be stripped at a 1/2”. Wires should be inserted by using a small screwdriver to depress the lever and then inserting the wire.

When the T3 Repeater is plugged in to AC Power, the Red/Green AC Power Indicator glows (or fl ashes) Green – indicating the system has AC Power and is ready for operation. With loss of power, the Red/Green AC Power Indicator glows (or fl ashes) Red – indicating the Backup-Battery System has been automatically activated, keeping the Repeater ON and ready for operation.

Power Indicator LED

  • Green Steady Glow: AC Power and battery is fully charged.
  • Red Steady Glow: Running on battery backup
  • Red Flashing: Running on Low Battery.
  • Red/Green Alternate Flashing: Battery fault detected. Battery is either extremely discharged, open or shorted. If fault occurs at power-up, the indicators should clear in 4 – 6hrs. If fault continues after 12Hrs Battery is failed (Open or Shorted).

Transmit / Receive LED
