The PRO series is suitable for most 2-pole and 3-pole (earthed) sockets in protection classes I and II and is the safest way to connect your portable devices around the world (3-pole sockets). The attachment on the PRO – World & USB version also features a high-performance USB port (E). Suitable for the following devices, among others (F): laptops, hairdryers, smartphones, tablets, digital cameras, MP3 players, electric razors, games consoles, GPS devices, video cameras, etc. Adapter: maximum 6.3 A; 100 V / 630 W to 250 V / 1575 W USB port: 5 V / 2.4 A
INSTRUCTIONS
Press the release button (A) and push the required slider forwards until it
clicks into place. connect the mains plug or charger to the adapter (G).
Connect the adapter to the mains (H) (image: PRO – World). Configuring the
plug for use in Switzerland, Italy or Brazil (I)
Push the slider (4) forwards until it clicks into place.
You can now position the middle pin:
11 Switzerland: push the middle pin all the way forwards.
12 Italy: line all three pins up in a row.
13 Brazil: push the middle pin forwards until it clicks once.
“Schuko“ standard
Using the PRO – World / PRO – World & USB adapter with a device with a Schuko
plug: remove the World to Europe/World to Europe USB attachment, connect the
plug on your chosen device to the adapter (C) and connect the adapter to the
mains. To connect devices from all over the world to Schuko Europe, connect
the World to Europe/World
to Europe USB attachment directly to the socket (J). (Image: World to Europe)
USB FUNCTION
(PRO – World & USB version only) Connect the World to Europe USB attachment to the PRO adapter. Connect the device-specific USB charger cable to the USB port (K) and connect the adapter to the mains (L). The World to Europe USB attachment can also be used without the PRO adapter in any country with the Schuko plug standard (over 100 countries worldwide).
ACCESSORIES
The Country Adapter World to Europe / World to Europe USB and matching USB charger are also available separately.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- Keep the adapter out of the reach of children.
- The adapter is not a voltage converter.
- The input voltage for the device to be connected must match the voltage of the local mains power supply.
- The adapter is only intended for short-term use and should be disconnected from the mains after use.
- Never use the adapter if the casing is damaged.
- Never expose the adapter to liquids or moisture.
- Using the adapter with higher-powered devices which exceed this product’s specifications (W = A × V) will cause the fuse to blow.
- When replacing the fuse, only use a 6.3 A fuse (ceramic or glass)
- Improper use of the adapter will invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty. No liability is accepted for damages.
- Keep these instructions.
